Yeah, I wanna update!

So on Sunday I met Rizal after 7pm and head east to the airport. Its been a while since I had Popeye. I (heart) Popeye! That jack ass is so into his boxing thingy till that is all he had to talk about, really. I dunno what's getting into him but I pray he will be able to locate the missing screw from his head.


I was on course for 2 days at IBMEC (in Starhub Building) and class ends around 5pm. On tuesday Lianne and myself manage to reach the pool early and we almost had the pool to ourselves. I'm kinda worried this is like one of the rare occassions I am able to swim early and the pool being that empty. So the last time we swam we did like 20 laps and this time round we shocked the hell out of the dead by doing 26 laps! Yippeeee!!

Met Fahmy yesterday after my class and we had dinner at Billy Bombers. I love the food there. The generous portions attracts me. The restaurant was playing like the 60's hits and I was wondering why did people of this era could revive the 70's but not the 60's? It'll be pretty cool... until Fahmy invented the straw dance!


I'm going swimming again tonight... 30 laps? Hmmm.....

The right kind of wrong

So, last night, went for a swim, with my girl, Lianne. We spent like 15 minutes cursing at the side while glaring at the kids having their swimming lessons. I mean, they should stick to some kind of a special lane like that of the parking lots, you know, for the disabled, and like that of those in the MRT, seats for the elderly and needy?

We gave up and prayed that the lessons will end about 7.30pm. We carried on swimming and aimed to complete 20 laps at least. We were too over enthusiastic in the beginning and got tired pretty fast. So we motivated ourselves by taking it easy... really easy. It worked! In no time at all we completed our 20 laps! Hahaa... I can feel my ass tightens, my shoulder broaden and definitely a few inches off, somewhere...

So what happened after you swim? Go home? Sleep? No... do it our way

Seriously you have seen the side of people you think you know so well of that night but you thought wrong. I'm glad everybody left the place with massive laugh lines on their faces *PHEW*. Can't wait to do it again. I have to thank Ms. Harvey for introducing that place to me. I'm giving them more business now!

To Rizal, hope you had an enjoyable time. I wasn't sure if you would love that place. I guess I can give a huge sigh of relief now. You owe me 10 birthday presents for my birthday this year! Come on, you have 10months to go. One gift per month? See! I'm giving you ample time to save...

So... if anyone wanna go there, let me know. One condition is that you have to BRING ME ALONG!

(Keep The Backstreet Pride Alive)

How many of you still remember being obsessed with the Backstreet Boys (BSB)? How many of us are ashame to admit that you used to go nutz over these 5 gents from Florida? You know what? I need closure. So forgive me, in advance, if I had embarassed you in any way possible or mentioned something that may not sound close to being true... hey, I'm the one writing this story now aite!

How long has it been? For me it started about 10years ago. I was only 15 and cute guys like Nick Carter made me blush! I was one of the rare girls who adores BSB when everyone else talks about Take That. I felt left out but not once did I care.

I remembered one afternoon in school Francisca announced that BSB will have an autograph session in Tower Records that very day. I could almost felt my leg giving way. Its an opportunity I couldn't possibly miss. So we rushed home quickly to change, there's 4 of us, Rose, Salyza, Francisca and myself...

We got disappointed when the Tower Record staff announced that there are no more entry passes left. Nevertheless, we continued squeezing in the queue line and probably we were meant to meet these boys as Mr. Security actually let us passed! I can see the other girls glaring at us in envy! I felt like it was the best day of my life, ever!

Its a day we girls relived over and over again. We relate the story to every girls' envy. Haha... it felt awesome. Years passed and the obsession grew. I spent hundreds of dollars every month on magazines, CDs, imported CDs, track singles, merchandises and many others that I could not even recall right now.

There's nothing more exciting then to meet fellow BSB fan on the street and be proud for what we believed in. You have no idea how many people I've known and befriends with thanks to BSB. I will name them, I will... I am so proud to tell the world, BSB had built so many friendships of mine. Jane, Susanah, Stephanie, Lindsay, Lianne, Kym, Kate, Rina Marini, Rachel, Siti, Yam, Jessica, Shireen, Josephine, The Backdoor Girls, ... darn, I forgot some names but its alright. Its the thought that counts.

So the legacy ended a couple of years back and what remained is the friendship. We don't find the need to talk about BSB no more. They "left" us for good. We accepted the fact that they did so we moved on. Over the years we had grown up and learned to not care anymore. Hehe... and guess what! They came back? Like F**K!

I just saw them on MTV Diary and damn I hate watching them now. Remember Frick & Frack? Looks like the Frick & Frack now is Howie and Nick! AJ's Mr. Oh-I-Can't-Go-Near-Alcohol and the other 2 are Mr. I'm-So-Married. What the f**k is going on! This is so anti-climax. Actually I would expect such since they're not the age they used to be back then. Kevin was 28 when they started, how old do you think he is now? Nick Carter still thinks he's the BABY OF THE BAND! *sigh*

They had accomplished so much the first time round that now, they're out to have fun, or so they say. I would have really wished those guys would have acted their age and try not to think as themselves like they were before 10 years ago. Its just so... passe!

By the by, I've finally let it off my chest. To my boyfriend. who's still sleeping at this point of time, YES I used to be a BSB fan and I am saying it oh so proudly. I'm over that phase now... I got my closure ... *clap clap*!

Life of a door bitch

Last night... MAP Award Presentation for the SEA Games medal winners @ Ministry of Sound. Yes, I know what you're thinking. FINALLY I got in! For free! *Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh*. My duty for the day is to be a door bitch (or something along that line).

There are a couple others who served as our entertainers. It can get very boring waiting for some action to happen. My door bitch #1 refused to make a fool of himself for my benefit. Therefore we found back up bitches to do the job. There are many who are willing to "serve" us!

Nothing interesting happened during my duty hours. So looking forward to me being in there where all the action is! I have peeps reserving seats for me already so all that's left is for me to stock up on my poison before the official bar close!

We moved around the place... from Club 54, to the main arena, to the R&B spot. No matter where you are, its always very very crowded. Except for the ladies room. Very nice toilet I must say. Wondering how much they had invested in that place.

Most of the Team Singapore clan were hanging out at Club 54. Retro arena but its cool. Not too bad since I can actually endure that place for more than an hour. There I spotted some hidden talents among our staff. Some looked really shy/demure/stiff on the outside, but they really got them ass jiggy with it on the dancefloor! I was impressed! I enjoyed the "show" very much!

Then Fida started to get really HOT! Too darn hot...

I started landing my head on anything... anything... I wasn't high. Seriously I was tired. I wasn't feeling too good that day to start off with and I left the rest of my lozenges in my bag which is in the baggage area. I ran out of drinks... losing my voice and I might have lost my sanity a little... God knows!

These are the few conversation I rememebered in my very "HOT" state.

"Damn girl, do you know that you're hot?" - I laughed in his face

"I don't think I've met you before" - I introduced myself and we ended dancing a wee bit too close. But its alright, I saw him having a bit of a fascination with another jiggy master on the dancefloor. Yup, a bisexual maybe?

"Hey, how you doin'?" - I wanted to turn and ask if he's a big fan of FRIENDS like me too!

"Are you alright? You wanna go to the toilet?" - Do I look constipated when I'm tired?

"Don't bother about him... enjoy yourself!" - Don't bother about who now?

I also recalled some parts where people kept touching my face when I told them I'm hot. I knew I did made some of my colleagues touched my cheeks but those are the intentional ones...

There was also one point I felt someone running ice cube on my body. Like WTF! Is it some trick guys use to make the ladies horny? Sheesh!

Anyway, I will let the photos do the talking. You might be able to catch snippets of it on Girls Gone Wild, Singapore Edition(Bigger, Longer & Uncut) in mid 2006. No worries, everyone had their clothes on till the end of the show! Hahaha...

Wanna hear a story?

Its a typical day at work. Very cold office since it rained a couple of times today. I was minding my own business until its about time for the last "shift" of staff to go home. Usually at this time there will be just a handful of people left behind.

I was packing up and my dear manager sighed that she hadn't been taking leave at all in 2005. I turned and said "If you have not taken leave AT ALL in 2005, means that I hadn't taken my leave at all in my whole SIX YEARS in this company!".

I might had said that out a lil' too loud cos I received a standing ovation from at least 5-6 staff whom I didn't noticed were hiding in their cubicles... never had I felt so proud!

I woke up 2 days later

I should have blogged last night but I totally forgot. Too many things on my mind right now. My 2006 did not go as smoothly as I've thought. I'm beginning not to like 2006 already. Anywho... I had already rekept what I've accomplished in 2005, now's the time to talk about my 2006 resolution. Did you know that I threw the idea of having resolutions in 2005? I promise myself to make one this year. I have to!

So here's what I have in 2004...
1. Lose weight (nope, nothing accomplished here)
2. Whole new wardrobe (I got some...)
3. Meet the future in-laws (pfftt! forget about that!)
4. Save more $$$ (Erm... I blew it for vacations and shopping)
5. Whine less (yes! this I accomplished!)
6. More attractive layouts for my site (I kinda have this accomplished too)
7. Make more $$$ (I can't figure out how actually)

So I guess for 2006, I will have...
1. to lose weight
2. to save money
3. to travel at least once a year by plane
4. to be with my baby for life
