Temptations...
I am torn between these three perfumes.
Let me give you a brief descriptions on them.
Davidoff Coolwater has been my best friend for years. If I choose not to buy its perfume, I will make it a point to get its body lotion cos' it smells so darn awesome! I can choose to purchase it again since the one I have at home could probably last me another month.
I've never bought Curious Britney Spears before but I'm a sucker for packaging. Its just so preeeeeeety and giiiirrrly! I like! The scent is good too. I'm very impressed indeed. Unlike Glow by J.Lo, this one definitely made it to by top 5 list.
I bought True Star once last year because of my boyfriend. He thought that is exactly how Beyonce would smell like, no kidding. Amazingly I like how Beyonce smells. The scent is sweet, alluring and not overpowering. I miss this scent too!
Other options I have includes my all time favourite, Elle by Giorgio Armani and Escada range. I'm pretty much open to suggestions but the best option will be for one with better freebies! Haha... good luck me ;P

Martini Garnish Buffett
It was a night of class and sophistication. Everybody's holding a glass of Dry Martini before the party begun. TOPSHOP had a line-up of new collection that screams "007". They led the way tot he entrance while the guest trailed along with an almost empty glass.
Eeks! Hazel with 2 glasses of Dry Martini!
The stick figures sashayed around the oh-so-tiny pub in (at least) a S$80-S$100 outfit while we ponder on what kind of martini we would want to order next. Hazel, my manager, bought a what I liked to call a Martini Credit Card. She had prepaid for 40 glasses of martinis and its worth S$80. That's like S$2 per glass! Unfortunately its only usable in Wong San's territory.
Anyways her card came with a handout with pictures of the many martinis served in those bars and Lynn and myself sorta try to remember the names so as not to sound stoopid and keep ordering Lychee Martini.
Fashion show ends and its time for some games. I got fingers pointing at me when asked for female volunteers so reluctantly I walked up to the centre of the stage waiting for some kind of shit to happen for the world to see me make a fool of myself. Fortunately its a simple game where I have to make my own martini called HSBC Desire.
Yes, HSBC's like the sponsor or something. I have a pro-bartender to tell me what to do and he's like "You should add blah with blah, both full cup then lastly add blah but not too much cos when you drink it that way it'll be...". I stopped him halfway and said "Just tell me what to do when I need to do it. I dunno squat what you're saying".
The judge came on stage and tasted the other guy's drink and then mine. I dunno why but I really wanted to win that time. True enuff, he liked my martini better. I was crushed when I didn't even get to taste my martini but they announced that I had won a S$200 Wong San voucher. Like WTF! Happy siak!
Head down to Odeon Towers for another round of drinks and dinner at Roof. Good place, good ambience, good crowd... love it there. Thanks Lynn for recommending me that place and also the 30% discount. Love ya MUACKS!

Long weekend for me, yes?
I manage to caught up with my entertainment bible over the weekend and was greeted with a post concerning Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson. Too hilarious not to mention here about Lindsay confronting Jessica causing her to sob! Here I quote..."Lindsay said, 'What's the matter? When your sister is around, you can talk shit about me, but now that Ashlee's not here, what are you going to do? C'mon! I'm 19 and you're 25. Say something, you coward!"
Simpson's response? She burst into tears. "She told Lindsay that she didn't want to cause a scene," says the source. But Lohan only grew more infuriated. "She said, 'Let's go outside then, you and me. Alone. I don't need to embarrass you. I'm not causing a scene. You think I care? Step outside! Let's go,'" says the source. "Ratner tried to calm down Lohan, to no avail.

Let's talk about work, shall we? My manager came back from Bangkok on Thursday night and her email greeted me in the morning when I turned on my MS Outlook. Yes! She's giving me more task to do! Yipee! She had assured me there will be more task assigned to me so as to not make my work too mundane but that will happen in (near) future. Right now I still need to clear the mess, the last minute mess and other people's mess. Yikes!
Ther's going to be an event this Thursday at Attica called Ad Asia Pub Nite. My sales people were invited and I ask my manager if I can tag along. She looked at me with a smile and said "Are the drinks free?". I told her the first 200 will be free while the rest of the night will be one-for-one.
Apparently she's not going herself because...
1. she dun feel like it
2. she's no longer into drinking
3. she dunno anybody who will be there
So I asked why our company's invited and she said its a good opportunity for the sales people to get to know their competition or perhaps their potential clients but for events like this you have to be really garang (fierce) to approach a stanger to widen your business network. If I'm fierce enough, she'll send me.
I told her, put a glass in my hand and watch me float!

hi!! hmmmm my gf force me to do this blogging thingy.. and i'm still wondering y people like to do this so much. Arsenal went throught yesterday through the semis.. i got the feeling they will win the Cup this year.(like what Liverpool did last year wooooohoooo!!), i'm still jobless.. going to be 27 soon.. f*&k up! feel so old. The good news is all Singapore citizen will be getting money this 1st May, first thing is to get.... a cologne and yes dear I'm goin to buy Clinique!! no more Cool water or anything got to do with davidoff!! Ok this was taken on 24th March during Salyza's hen's night. We reached MOS about midnight and unfortunately had to queue for about 10-15mins. We were late cos' everyone took so bloody long to get ready! Try waiting for 5 ladies to get ready for a girls' nite out and then you'll understand. Color of the night, BLACK.

Yay! Lemme rant!
So its been about a week since I first started here. I love this place. No more do I have to face the "antique" species of the world. Seriously, most of them here are about my age and the older ones are barely a decade away than me. Am I happy? Yes, so far I am.There's no ranting about this place as of yet. Everyone has been very pleasant to me. Its like everytime I walk down the corridor I can see a colleague of mine at the other end of it waving at me saying hello. Everytime I'm waiting for the elevator or in the bus, there's bound to be someone talking to me and the most embarrassing part is when they address me by name and I have no clue what's theirs! I am slowly learning to match faces with names.
This place is like a maze to me. Although this place is quite "ulu", so far I have never encountered any difficulty in food hunting. Everyday I will lunch with a different group of people (something that will never happen in SSC) and they will bring me to places I've never been before. The "policy" here is You'll Never Lunch Alone.
Who's my buddy here? Hmm... I would have to say its the 3rd floor multi-storey carpark in this building! Haha... go figure! Actually there are too many nice people here. Let me give them a quick shout outs...(lemme do it alphabetically)
Clifford
Came in a week before me and by far the craziest/insane dude I've ever met. He gave me a very approachable impression in the first 10mins I was in the office then later on I thought he was just freaky. I mean you can find him talking, smiling and laughing by himself but deep inside he's a genius. My theory is when one's IQ is too high, shit like that happens. He is the only dude I knew who can come up with things like "Damn Bloody Foo Goo!"
Chung Howe (a.k.a Howie)
I could never pronouce his name properly up to today therefore we had settled on the name Howie. He's a very bubbly sales person here who will provide me with mini entertainment whenever he's near me. It can be as stoopid as calling objects not by name but its associated noise. For example, instead of saying "Can borrow your stapler?", he will say "Can I borrow your click click".
Dana
We live so close and she's my age and she's holding a higher post than me. Very demoralising but she's a nice person. She was the 1st person to invite me out for lunch. Oh yeah, she loves to Karaoke! Hehehe...
Hazel
She's my manager and I really look up to her, almost literally. She's the best mentor anyone could ever ask for. Thanks to her I can pick up things faster than I thought and she has been doing very well tolerating my stoopid questions. Really!
Isaac
Ah... the first thing he said to me was "If you want to get to know a lot of people, you should lunch with me". Till now I am still lunching with him and I've got no regrets so far. I've gone to so many hawkers and foodcourts here thanks to him. In fact, I have pretty much covered every eating place here! Ta-Dah!

Jereme
There are so many versions on how to pronounce his name. I used to call him Jerome and some do call him Jeremy. Both wrong! Hehe... He's so-called my director and he's a very nice, tanned, lean man.
Joanne
We call her Babarian (like Singaporean, but for babas) now thanks to me. She has helped me so much from my first day till now. She even gave me advice on how to perform my job better. She also relate to me some haunting stories in the office for my entertainment. What a sweetheart.
Khang Lip
My designer. Always have the impression that he's a very strict/stern/fierce/no shit kind of guy. Just one lunch with him and I realise how much we are alike (creativity wise). He has also thought me a lot about how the company's production side operates hence it does make my work flow clearer. Hopefully he will stay nice to me everyday! Cos' he is going to be one of them who will be stepping on my toes.
Vivian
I swore I thought she's an intern the first time I talked to her. I only got to know her name, age etc a week later. She will talk to me every morning in the bus and I have no clue who she is.
Ok, I'm exhausted. No, not really. Is just that I still need to remember more names. Hehe...
