Oh... what? Hmmm...

I'm really not in the mood to update this but I gotta write something otherwise, 10 years down the road there's not much stuff to reminisce... *hee*

On Monday I received a cheque for US$15 from Yahoo! and it was for an online survey I did for them like God knows when. It has got to be ages ago cos' I really don't remember taking any recently. The cheque was dated 07 Sep 06 which is pretty recent. Hmm... so I went to the bank to enquire if I could bank it in my local account. The teller looked at my cheque and laughed! She told me they can process the cheque for me but by the time the money gets into my account (which is 3 weeks later btw), it will only amount to less than US$1! Yes, they will deduct the cost of processing and some other shitto. Pissed? ME TOO!

My recruitment agent (the one who got me this job) came over for a brief visit. I almost couldn't recognise him cos' its been quite a while since I met him. In my life I only meet him twice and the rest of the time we communicate over the phone. He's such a nice man... if you want a job you should so look for him. His name is Alan by the way...

Fork me again, my stock value went up!

Hazel MSN-ed me asking me to come over to her desk. I was thinking "What did I do now...". She handed me an envelope and congratulated me to being part of the company. I was thrilled, grabbed the envelope, I think I thanked her and hopped to my workstation to tear it open.

Fork me, I'm done!

Yes, yes, yes. I had my confirmation review this morning and everything turned out positive. YAY!! If I'm in my previous company right now, they'll be pointing out 10 irrelevant points why I am a bad employee. My manager asked me the million dollar question...

Hazel: We're pushing for you to get salary increment. How much you want?
Me: As much as possible!!
Hazel: *LOL*

Like DOH! Of course I would want much much more that what I'm getting right now. Why would I ask for $100 when there's a possibility to get $200?

Yesterday I had a conversation with the Money Director and it goes as follows...

Eugene: Fida, let me tell you, those people are stupid hence I have to vomit blood every month to make sure they bill us the correct amount.
Me: Eh, don't use the word stupid.
Eugene: But they really are stupid, simple-minded people.
Me: Wokay...
Eugene: Do you know how glad I am to work with intelligent people like you?
Me: I smell pay raise...
Eugene: *act blur*
Me: Wooooiiiii!!!

Now I'm vomitting blood!!!

I lost it

I am very very sad right now. I lost the first second third one of those important thing in my life. I bought it in Krabi, Thailand for a very good price. No, it is not an imitation or a fake. Its real titanium metal aite. Pretty rare to find actually. And now I have to shelf it away for as long as the other half is missing. If anyone of you were to see it lying around helplessly somewhere, do let me know. Its very much missed, not only by me but its other half. *GROWL* It pisses me that you just can't purchase that little ball that holds everything together! Come home my little ball... I missed you so much!

Top 10 Baby!!

No, I'm not on billboard charts, neither am I in the most wanted list. I clocked Top 10 most no. of hours in my company in August. Yup, me too, I never would think there's such a list. I'm on no. 5 with 172.15hrs. The top spot clocked 204.65hrs.

Nope... I ain't competing for the top spot. I have a life. I don't think I'll get any medal for this or any other reward for that matter. If I do, I'll BLOL (blogging and laughing out loud) like crazy!

On a more serious note, I went to the polyclinic this morning hoping to find the answer to why my period had been really weird this month and I paid S$8 to hear the doctor say "I don't know" when I asked her what's wrong with me. Actually I'm not really pissed at her. One major reason why I do not like to go to polyclinic is because of the patients there.

While waiting, I observe around me and I notice many of them barging in the consultation room when its not their turn and worse, when there's another patient in the room. My eye muscles on the verge of having spasm when luckily the led screen ding-donged my queue number.

Just before I manage to reach for the door knob, an old man tried to enter the room. I gave him the iciest glare I've ever given anyone before. Fearing for his life, he backed off.

Lesson learnt... do not go to polyclinics unless your GP decides to... erm... I CAN'T THINK OF AN EXCUSE! Just don't do it!
