Post Mortem
Just 48hrs ago I was cracking my brain to dish another 6-7 more entries before I could finally go to sleep. Now... 2 days later, its like a bad withdrawal symptom. I think I want more of such events. Even if its not for charity but for pure fun and joy, I don't really mind. I can say blogging is my passion, even if I have nothing to blog about! The only thing that can come between me and my blog is lethargy.Surprise, surprise I did not hibernate right after. I watched TV, eat like a normal person and slept at normal hours. I woke up exactly 8hrs later like normal adult would and led a normal life like nothing had happened. I wasn't even tired. I wish work could be like that... maybe there will be jobs one day paying what I'm earning right now in near future. Hmm...
Rant:
I was at M1 shop yesterday and was comparing mobile phone prices between M1 and Starhub via their wireless notebook terminal nearby. I was barely there for a minute and this fella stood next to me started opening his mouth...
Him: Excuse me, I WANT to use this terminal!
Me: I just got here. Can't you WAIT?
I thought he'll run away and cry but his stubborn ass stood right next to me, eye-ing whatever I'm doing, not budging away. He thought that'll make me give up but knowing myself, I made him wait even longer! Muahaha!
Will write another entry in half hr...... NOT!

22 hr : Counting down... for real
2 hours more to go and I'm glad to say I'm still alive, although I did fell flat for about 3 hrs or so (same as last year) but I can proudly say I fell flat later than I did last year. Of course I hope next year it won't happen again.
Total amount of pledges currently still stand at US$7, come to think of it, I earned nothing from this whole event. No worries, I am not despaired at all. In fact I had a lot of fun. I kinda wish I don't have to do this blogathon thingy but I could be there for the rest of the 'thonners like a cheeleader of sort, but without the sexy uniforms... or should I wear something slutty? Could it help 'thonners to stay awake?
Then again its never to late to support by pledging any amount to my charity HERE!

21.5 hr : Funny Answering Machine Messages
You are dazed, bewildered, trapped in a world with no time, where color collides with sound, and shadows explode. You see a sign up ahead. This is no ordinary answering device; this is "The Twilight Phone"
Hi. This is John: If you are the phone company, I already sent the money. If you are my parents, please send money. If you are my financial aid institution, you didn't lend me enough money. If you are my friends, you owe me money. If you are a female, don't worry, I have plenty of money. Now I lay me down to sleep; Leave a message at the beep. If I should die before I wake, remember to erase the tape.
Can’t take your call, I'm hiding from the men in white coats. We've been playing hide'n'seek for weeks, and they still haven't found me! Tee Hee Hee! Leave a message?
Dear Caller: As I'm leaving you this message, the sun is shining for a change. Little children are cavorting in the park, and their tasty mothers and teenage sisters are sunbathing practically nude. So, did you really think I was going to stick around this dump?
Heaven, God speaking...
Hello, this is David. I don't live here, so if you were trying to call me, you've dialed the wrong number. On the other hand, if you were trying to call John, Jim, or Eric, please leave your name and number at the tone. I don't guarantee that one of them will call you back—only that I won't.

14 hr : Where I'd rather be
So what are you thinking now? I'm not thinking that much really.Picture myself in Amsterdam having breakfast in bed in Season Star Hotel while gazing over, I can see the Central Station! Or have a quick bite over at Park Plaza Victoria Hotel before I roamed the Red Lights.
Or maybe I'm in Rome... staying at the Hotel Zone Rome so that I'll be close enough to stroll over to the Vatican City. Or I could bein Hotel Romanico Palace so that I can absord the awesome atmospher of Via Veneto maybe.
But London's calling me for a spa session in Millenium Baileys Hotel. It'll ne really divine to be in the Best Western Corona Hotel, a building with so much character and beauty rolled in one.
Barcelona! Barcelona! Where else I'd rather be than the Silken Garden Havana Hotel and its a havana in your eyes, alright. Or maybe I could have a get together for brunch at the Hotel Royal Ramblas where it'll be convenient for my posse and me to roam Catalunya for a shopping spree or other stuff that girls like to do.
I think I'm really really sleep deprived. I had my shower a while ago and I want another one! 10 hrs more to go!!

I've been meaning to get a new handphone since my contract with Starhub expired a month ago. I'm torn between these...
Basically I need a phone that enables me to access WIFI and of course, allowing me to browse the net easily. What do you think? Having a stylus will be better or does ordinary handphone buttons will do the job just fine?

5.0hr : Caring for your cancer-striken child
Your child might have many questions about cancer and its treatment. Be honest when talking about it — discuss the disease in age-appropriate terms and encourage your child to share his or her feelings. And remember that you're not alone: Doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, child-life therapists, and other members of the cancer treatment team are there to reassure you and your child before, during, and after chemotherapy.Kids who are scared about starting chemo might benefit from a tour of the hospital or clinic beforehand or joining a support group for families coping with childhood cancer. Besides making treatment seem less frightening, meeting other cancer patients and survivors might help your family develop a network of friends and supporters dealing with the same issues.
Once chemo is done, it's still important for the doctor to monitor your child's health and progress in follow-up appointments. During these checkups, the doctor will ask if there are continuing side effects or any signs of the cancer recurring.
It can be difficult to cope with a cancer diagnosis, let alone to take in facts about chemotherapy. Remember that despite the side effects of this cancer treatment, most kids are cured of their cancer and can enjoy happy, productive lives.

4.5 hr : WACKY HAIR #04
Hi its me! Mommy The Maid! Yeah, I kinda took that name a tad too literal when I thought styling my hair like a mop might scare the kids enough to make them more well behave. Ok, lets be fair! Not many mommies out there have PINK MOPS!
Don't start mopping me away... vote for me on the 20th hr post!!
Labels: blogathon07
4.0hr : Cool ladies go bald
These ladies' rocking their new-do (or what's lack of it) and I wish I could do the same... if not for the petty boyfriend who claims long hair is what accentuates a female's beauty form *blah blah blah*

Hokay... I know what you're thinking. Why do I put Britney's pic here! IMHO, I see her doing the deed to 'free' herself from her stressful environment. A friend once told me (this is coming from a guy... a hot guy... in school who shaves his head 1 day before a big exam) after he got rid of his mane, he had never felt more alive and pure. Its like starting life over. I belief Britney had known him from somewhere and did the same.
On the contrary, the kids who had suffered from cancer and had to go thru countless chemotheraphy has to go through the balding process unwillingly. I can only imagine a little girl dying to grow long hair so as her mom could tie 'em up in cutesy ponytail. And picture a little boy having no hair to sculpt with the hair gel, trying to copy his soccer idol's style.
Do your part, show your support... not only that... show the kids that you know what its like and let them know you understand... Shave your head... or you could pledge to my charity, hoping someone else would do it.

- 'thonners are whoring their site like crazy
- we're making more friends by the hour!
- getting messages over MSN (from non 'thonners) for updates on their pledges
