What have I been up to?

Attended a wedding

Bought 2 boxes of cupcakes for the whole office (Ahem... why do you think I did that?)

Celebrated Vanez's birthday

Celebrated Eugene's birthday

Celebrated Reela's Birthday in the most unconventional way

I went on vacation: Perhentian Island, Terengganu, Malaysia

I seriously have no time to upload the massive amount of photos I have on hand. These will be sufficient for my keepsake here. Toodles~

Annual Report 2007

Well, if you had forgotten, I had scrapped the idea of having resolutions since last year. Mainly due to the fact that I never fulfiled them and I tend to not care about them at all.

But I did mention I wanted to pick up a new skill. Well...
  1. I can play a full song on my crummy ol' guitar
  2. I CAN make cupcakes, they're edible alright!
  3. Workwise, I did pick up a couple of new, useful skills *YAY*
So let's do a brief rekept for 2007. Honestly speaking, I've been very brief on my entries for this whole year. Sadly, my camera did not get that much abused from me this year.

I guess I did tried to do better in life and work. I remember having all this self-realisation, self-discover shitzz for a couple of months. I blame it on my quarter life crisis. For once I notice how much I've grown and I've also realised how precious time is.

Charly, the french fry, came down to Singapore again for his internship. I wished I had spent more time with him but I didn't. He was here for like 6mths and I met him like 2-3 times? pathetic eh? But that's more frequent than I meet my own folks, so...

Lindsay came and I met up with her for that one day... just one day! I will do better for your 2008 trip, I promise!

I met so many new people... like SO MANY! I made myself sit down and listen to them to really get to know them better before passing off judgement. Yeah, a whole different Fida coming your way. I'm still the same person really, just takes a much longer time to unleash the negativity now. Haha!

Am I happier now? I guess you can say so. But deep inside there's a tinge of sadness in me for the fact that I wish I could meet up with my present, long-time-no-see friends again to catch up on old times. Just having you in my phonebook is not enough... unless I've chosen to avoid you already? Muahaha!

Let's talk about vacations. I went to Phuket, Bangkok, Bintan and JB. That's like using my passport for 4 times! Like woah~ This has to be some kind of a record! Usually I travel like twice max.

Pricely possession of this year includes:
  1. Nintendo DS-Lite (pimped out version)
  2. Nokia E65
That's it? Wow! I guess I didn't spend as much as I used to! But then again, I made up for that in the travelling department.

I almost lost my PC but a good friend told me he'll fix it at no cost... just a Burger King meal! That was a close call but I'm glad he manage to salvage everything back. I have no clue what I'll do if I loose all the data inside! I should now consider investing in a Hard Disk Drive to backup all my data!

I did blogathon again this year and once again, I fell asleep for a bit. It was a lot more organised this year as I've had previous experiences. Haha. I didn't raise that much money but I'm glad I did my part to help the less fortunate. Should I look forward to Blogathon 2008? Meh... we'll see about that. It kinda gets a tad too old... we need fresh ideas people!

As I mentioned I won't be setting resolutions but on the other hand, I started new projects/hobbies.
  1. I Must Do This Daily - Project 365 Blog (Where I post a picture once a day from my mobile phone)
  2. Roll - Lomo/Holga blog (Yes I will be a proud owner of a Holga in a week's time. In the meantime I'll stick to my Action Sampler)
These are just the few I'm starting. I hope to keep myself more occupied in 2008 with all these projects, new and present, in hand. At the same time it gets my creative juice running... some of you may have noticed I've not designed my own template for a while.

So what's gonna happen in 2008? Settle down? Hmmm....

You? Me? Friend?

You know sometimes how we yearn to have gazillion of friends? Not you? Hoe-well... Let's just say when you're 14 or 17, you've got plenty but now you've got just a handful or none at all. Would you be ok with it? Or would you feel rejected somehow? How many of us actually keep in touch with all these people in your phonebook you call friends?

Exactly...

Me, on the other hand, do not wish to celebrate my 50th birthday in a chalet full of aging friends, or put a massive pressure on my offsprings to book a bigger venue to have my funeral as our house is gonna be like too small to hold all of them.

With my current situation now, I feel priviledged to be able to sit down and rethink about all the people I've met, hung out with, schmooze... haha. How many actually deserve my friendship?

Ok, a lil' disclaimer here: I may or may not be talking about you but please stop thinking its you cos' it may or may not be you.

So right now, I'm putting additional effort to weed out the bad and hopefully retain the good. I've mostly been weeding... so if you feel like you've been weeded by me, please proceed to the door with the 'EXIT' sign and don't come back.

Another thing I'm puzzled is that these people kept telling me I've not been 'around' cos' I've got a boyfriend. Bitch puh-leeze! I've been around and about... just without you! Hahaha!

Don't judge me... I'm happy.

Sidenote: Congrats Germaine & Alan, I love your wedding although I came drenched and I'm sure it's not part of the dresscode but I dunch care cos' I love you and I'm very happy your wedding's a success so it's time for your horny-moon and please come back with your egg/s fertilized... LOL!

Note to self: Don't ever think of planning a wedding on a beautiful beach during monsoon season.

Time for an update... yay!

To do:
  1. Upload photos from 3 trips I had in September
  2. Remind myself aging doesn't matter
  3. Clear schedule for some decent social life
  4. Plan another vacation
  5. Save money
  6. Gear up for December issue (my magazines)
  7. Lose weight
  8. Earn a promotion... muahaha!!
  9. Reach advance level for Sudoku
  10. Spend more time with my digital camera
Accomplishment:
  1. Change layout - although Fahmy wasn't too pleased with the underlying message; I thought it was nice!
  2. Be more efficient at work over the years - too long in my previous place does wonders to my productivity level... not in a good way
  3. Planned my leave till the end of the year
  4. Got in touch with many long lost friends
  5. Bought new toys to keep me occupied at home, in the bus, etc etc
  6. Met my annual travel quota
  7. Thank God, I manage to go through fasting month peacefully
  8. Improved my baking skill
  9. 'Pimped' my hair
  10. I had proven to myself that I CAN save money... like for real!
Updating in point form is like sooo much easier... haha!

Long time no sea

I met an old friend from my Secondary School on tuesday and she came to realise its been exactly 10 years since the last time we met. MET... not talked or hung out etc. We were in the same stream, same batch, but never in the same class neither did we roll with the same people. She's always one of the boys, while I was a "social butterfly" hanging out with odd groups now and then.

Even though we've never been close, we realise we both have not enjoyed our four years in that school. I'm not even talking about hating the studying bit. We hated those popular girls who thought they're all that, we hated the teachers, we hated practically the same things. But for her, military band (her ECA) is the only thing she looked forward to in school, I, on the other hand, had nothing else.

10 years and we've learnt how much we had grown up and how fun it was to laugh when we found out those popular girls are strapped at hom with kids while we, the rebel, are out and about having fun, enjoying life to the fullest.

Me: Uneducated fool hoping to achieve big via work experience
She: Pilot of the sea... awesome eh?

Friends?

My phone has been very very quiet for the past year. Why? It didn't used to be like this. Is it something that I've done? Did I put so much attention on my love life and work that I forsaken everything else that matters? Yup, Sims 2 is my new best friend. It kept me company throught good and bad hours after hours!

I accidentally punched the wall on my way out of the ladies room. Now I can see my non-existence knuckle. Still sore... yeooucchh!

Addicted to interruptions

**WARNING** Lengthy update in this entry.

So Lindsay was in town and we met up only once during her 2 weeks trip here. Unfortunately our schedule clash pretty badly. Suppose to see her off yesterday but I was caught up in something else and wouldn't be able to make it to the airport in time, unless I take the cab of course, which will cost me a hell lot more for the extra airport surcharge blah blah. So sorry Linz! I really want to be there. Maybe not really for you but for Popeye! I miss those damn chickies!

So the one and only time we met I had to drag her all the way out of town and in Toa Payoh Hub... feelin' heartlanders. I was already there during lunch hour with Clifford who wouldn't budge, refusing to go back to work. Haqiim and Lindsay join us an hour later and we continued to hung out there while waiting for Lianne to arrive. Clifford eventually made his exit, of course.

Oh yes, why are we there, of all places? Well, my colleague gave me 4 tickets to catch live show of Dancefloor (reality show alike 'So You Think You Can Dance'). It blows! But we had fun comparing the place from what it had looked like many years ago when I was very active in making my trips to Mediacorp. Anyway its a short cab journey and the fare was on Haqiim. So what the heck!

After wasting 2 hours (or 3 maybe?) watching something I swear I will never watch again ever, we rode the bus all the way to Harbourfront, since my friends doesn't know how to go home from that place. Lindsay, Haqiim and myself took the North East Line to Clarke Quay to 'escort' Lindsay to be reunited with her friend. Apparently Singapore already seemed foreign to her.

I also met up with Charly a few days later for dinner. It was nice. He's still the same old Charly. I wish him the best for his intership here and pray he will not come back. Too many annoying people in my life already, I can do without this one. Hehe... va te faire foutre!!

The company organised a chinese new year dinner held 5 mins (on foot) away from my place. The last time I was in that building was when I was still in Kindergarten... one of those mini-concerts the kids put up to make our parents clap, smile and be proud of what their kids had learnt from the school. It had changed sooooo much (like DOH!) from being just a multi purpose hall to a chinese restaurant... I think its a restaurant.

Food was served pretty late and I filled my very empty stomach with beer... cold beer. It kinda spoil the whole night cos' after that I felt really horrible. Went to the ladies and vomitted... beer. Just beer. Awesome part of the night was the lucky draw. Everyone walked away with something. No one left the place empty handed, unless they had forgotten to take the prize back with them. I won a bluetooth headset which I don't really need and exchanged it with a Microsoft webcam.

At that point I had aspired to be like the red paper clip fella who exchange something worthless until he got himself a house. I exchanged a $30-40 bluetooth headset with a $160 webcam. I went round the room to change with other expensive items and got turned down... hard. I even use the excuse of my new aspiration but to no avail. Damn it! I was aiming that 20 inch LCD monitor!

Walked home slowly while hugging my new webcam and the moment I reach home, I was... erm... crazy enough to start installing it while being irritated by the spinning room. It worked fine. Much better than my previous one. See my new webcam shot on your right. So now my old webcam is up for loan... till I broke my new one. Any takers? Haha!

And today... Santa dropped by and look what he had left me!

Droolz!~~~

That's it! My weekend is fully booked! No update till my review is out!

Weekend updates

Yeah... I met Fahmy, hungry, had lunch at Delifrance, Capitol Building, walk a bit, got tired, took a bus, end up in cineleisure, contemplating to go bowling or karaoke, end up at K-Box, went for member's special where I don't have to pay cover charges, just for drinks and the compulsory tid bits, we were given 5 hours to sing, felt like texting Rizal, he came down to join us all the way from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, we sang till we're pretty much hungry again, went down to Beach Road for dinner, had "tulang" (direct translation: bones, otherwise its a delicacy made famous by people here, see this entry), chit chat for a bit, went over to Tampines to hang out with Fahmy's friend, around 1am, we shifted to Pasir Ris for another round of not doing anything, hailed a cab, reached home around 3.30am, went to bed, do-nothing Saturday, got bored on Sunday, called Siti up for another 5 hours of karaoke-ing.... *phew* Let the photos do the talking.

Oh let me be the first to welcome a certain French boy who at this moment is making his way to my tiny island. Va te faire foutre!!

Chart your own progress plan (Part Trois)

As promised...

1. What kind of person do I want to be?
Describe the kinds of skills, abilities, qualities, disposition, character and understanding you want to have
Be more organised, increase fluency in marketing, creativity skills and money-savvy.

2. What do I want to do with my life?
Think of big and small achievements, goals and important issues that concern you
Increase bank balance to at least a solid 5 digit number (minus decimal points) and be happy and healthy in life.

To achieve the results of the two questions above, you need a strategy that involves answering the seven questions below:

1. Where am I?
Describe fully your current state in both your personal and work life.
Work: Major learning stage with my manager planning to give me more responsibilites (read: KPIs)
Personal: Still insecure about life in general. Is settling down the answer?

2. How did I get there?
Look back in your life and trace all the elements, events and people who influenced your path in life.
I pull myself together to quit my previous job after all the doodie I've been through. Many lessons had been learned from my previous job. I joined them in my teens and I grew up learning not so much about work but more on people. I shall not touch so much on that since I think 45% of my blog content is related to that.

3. Where do I want to go?
Using the material from the two fundamental questions, describe your goals.
Climb up the career ladder steadily base on pure experience and hands on knowledge maybe? Also to trust other people, let them in a bit more.

4. How will I get there?
Refer to the information you have gethered about your journey in life so far, and consider new ways if the usual ones are hindering your progress.
Definitely in need of guidance and hopefully I'll be discipline enough to read up on how to build these skills which enables me to flyyyy!! When it comes to life, I'd say I need more social life. But do I need more friends? Or just peg on my present friends and work on it?

5. What will I do when I arrive?
Sketch out your intentions and actions.
When promotion is due, that is a sign that I had been entrusted with new responsibilities and its up to me to take it up another level to prove to them I am worthy of that reward. And the life bit I guess I'll throw a party or something. I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

6. Where shall I go next?
Life is a continuous process of change, therefore it is important to plan beyond your immediate horizons.
I'd prolly still be here. Hopefully one day I'll be heading a business unit (manager/director?) *LOL*. There's no harm in dreaming. And about the life bit, I'll promise to take care of my friends, people whom I only assume will be around with me for life.

7. How do I begin?
List what you have to do and attach a time frame for each objective.
Work: I'll reflect on my job done and achievements every half a year (same time frame as the organisation's appraisal) and work from there... and it has to start... erm... NOW!
Life: I'll start calling them, asking them out, go for occassional dinner/drinks and whatever that will rock their bottoms.

There you go, hopefully you guys attempt it too *PHEW*! Oh by the way there's one more part left to this entry... watch out for this space!

Yappy Yew Year!

Its 2007 and I hope you had partied the twenty-o-six away like your life depends on it! I personally had a different kind of celebration. I was in a place where I get to feel for someone else. I was a proud mama watching my baby on stage doing something he love the most (other than me). I couldn't wipe the smile off my face the whole night and he knows it and thought it was weird. He got an encore to play with another band and I had shamelessly announced to the peeps near my table that HAWT bassist is my boyfriend! Shameless I tell ya...

Oh ya, there's videos too but that'll take time to load so maybe on the next entry or so... HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. Have an awesome 2007. IN YA FACE 2006!~

Pre-Christmas

[edit]Just to let you guys know I'm having a supder duper long weekend. I'm on MC for tuesday and wednesday and am clearing my leave on thursday and friday. Dun be hatin'![/edit]

Stuff happened before christmas and I've neglected to update about it. Why? Cos' its like a brand new habit I picked up from some people in my blogroll. Its contagious! Its deadly! Run people run!!

There's one Sunday, Fahmy and I met up and picked up the courage to try the all new junk food eateries, Superdogs. Not as super as I had thought it would have been in my head, but its alright. Chilli cheese dogs... nay!

And then this super couple met up again on another weekend, the eve of xmas eve, and end up in a place we both had enjoyed, a year ago with a few others who had just explored it for the first time. #1 Nite Stand had the best live band I've seen, Six In The City, but the crowd wasn't too favorable. So we left only to find ourselves in Ministry of Sound... sheesh. Sorry, no photos from in there, too lazy!

Still not quite gotten rid of my hangover, I flagged a cab and off we go to Aisha's place to celebrate her daughter's birthday. A house full of kids... good times!

Anyways, here's some graphics containing stuff I've gotten during the festive season.

Hmmm... that means I still owe them presents, YIKES! I dedicate this song to them then... HAHA! Hey, Xmas song ok! Good one also, kinda appropriate if you read the lyrics below *LOL*... enjoy! And a belated MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Oi! Oi!

Haji was a punk just like any other boy
And he never had no trouble until he started up his Oi band,
safe in the garage or singing in the tub.
Till Haji went to far and he plugged in at the pub

Twas a cold Christmas eve when Trevor and the skins
popped in for a pint and to nick a bag of crisps
Trevor liked the music but not the Unity
He unwound Haji's turban and knocked him to his knees

If god came down on Christmas Day
I know exactly what he'd say
He'd say "Oi to the punks and Oi to the skins-
but Oi to the world and everybody wins!"

Haji was a bloody mess, he ran out thru the crowd
he said "we'll meet again we are bloody yet unbowed"
Trevor called his bluff and told him where to meet
Christmas day on the roof down at 20 Oxford street

If god came down on Christmas Day
I know exactly what he'd say
He'd say "Oi to the punks and Oi to the skins-
but Oi to the world and everybody wins!"

On the roof with the nun chucks Trevor broke a lot of bones
But Haji had a sword like that guy on Indiana Jones

Police sirens wailing, a bloody dying man,
Haji was alone and abandoned by his band
Trevor was there fading and still so full of hate
when the skins left him there and went down the fire escape
Oi Oi

Then then Haji saw the north star shining more then ever
So he made a tourniquet from his turban saving Trevor
the repelled down the roof with the rest of the turban
and went back to the pub where they bought each other bourbon

If god came down on Christmas Day
I know exactly what he'd say
He'd say "Oi to the punks and Oi to the skins-
but Oi to the world and everybody wins!"

Oi Oi

A whole lotta proper updates

There's this one day Fahmy and I met on a weekend to spend time together at Vivocity and everywhere else around that area. We had too much fun that the idea of waiting for our dinner to arrive is just too much of precious time to waste just sitting there and wondering when will the plates be delivered to your table.

A few days later, on night, on my off day, Clifford invited me to some party at MOS. I think it had something to do with MTV and some watches. I should really start disciplining myself to update soon enuff before I forget the details.

Then over the weekend I met up wit my long-time-no-see auntie Naura *hehehe*. She has a new toy and she ain't afraid to show it off. Look at the size of that thang!!But than that monster toy of hers' battery went kapoot within minutes after we started playing with it. Its a very complicated toy to play with in my opinion but she seems to know what she's doing.

We also raid the flea market nearby and got some good buys. Bags mostly, good price for a second hand product. That auntie of mine nabbed like FIVE at one go while I only managed to land my heart for two. Must shop there again... and again... and again. Addicted I am now, thanks to that auntie!

Another good day after work, we headed towards the east for a scrumptious dinner in honor of Clifford and Carol's old aged day. Haha... I love celebrating other people's birthday. Its soooo much more fun than celebrating your own.

The day after I met up with the one and only idiot cousin of mine for he owes me 1 out of many dinner treats and to the changi airport we go for my well deserved Popeyes!

Last night I went for the loooong awaited swim with Hazel and boy did that scare the shit outta ma muscles! We did 20laps which I had not done for a very long time and it was my first time attempting it with Hazel. Twas fun... Twas good... Twas tummy rumbling. So off to McDonalds we go! Bitching session commenced at 2145h and went on till almost 0000h. Twas fun... Twas informative... Twas fierce!

As usual, click the photos to view the rest.

Like a pimple you can't squeeze

I know I wanted to go on hiatus *glares at Kate* but in the end I sprung back up, like the trooper I've always been, and... well... blog. I have a few reasons why I wanted to and both didn't really work out. I had prepared a new layout for my website. Its gonna be all white... and pink. Hehe... something different. Its not quite ready yet... it can take me ages to 'approve' a new layout. So, hang in there. I'm still here, unfortunately.

Anyway, photo updates! These were taken last Saturday when the 3 of us met up for dinner at The Village (pronounced as vee laa jay), which had replaced my darling Marche. Thank God everything, apart from the logo and uniform, looked exactly the way it is.

And this is Clifford happily settling himself behind me

And I have learn to adapt cos' one day he came to the office armed with this

What's red and white and....

... not allowed to complain?

The weather's hot, hot, hot! And the waiting game just crumbled my spirit to be there. The Frenchie however, really excited albeit the heat and has been very patiently waiting while playing with the Singapore flag and singing the 'national anthem' at the same time. He's more Snigaporean than I am, believe me!

We left about 8-ish to go grab us dinner. Waiting makes one hungry and angry.. grrr!

Yesss... MOS!

Charly, Ellen and moi head down to Clarke Quay for a night of alcohol, loud music and a whole lotta fun! First we snuggled on the comfy couch in 1 Nite Stand listening to the awesome music of Six In The City. This is the first time I heard the band perform with the replacement vocalist, and they still sound awesome!

Right after that we hopped over to the Ministry of Sound for some boogie, woogie, oogie till about 2am. Click on the photo to see the rest of it.

Oh when I was in The Cage (a.k.a Smoove), I bumped into someone really familiar... very very familiar... I pulled him by the arm and I noticed him grinning...

Me: Are you Shawn?
Shawn: Yes and I REMEMBER you!
Me: Are you sure?
Shawn: Yeah, I still remember that night. You girls looked GORGEOUS!
Me: Awww...
Shawn: Seriously... THANK YOU!

We chatted for a bit, introduced him to the almost forgotten friends I had towed along with me in there and we went separate ways. He's so cute...

Maybe I can call them strangers, but not just any strangers. They're strangers from a strange land. I am please to introduce you to them...

By the time I managed to meet them F2F (face to face), they knew what to do and what to talk to me about. I'm happy ya'll. I'm blogging with a smile on ma face.

**Britney Spears/Red Neck mode off**

I have photos to update but the silly 'ol fotopages site is down :(. I have many many pics of my new colleagues and of course, my new hair. Yerpz, I am very happy with my hair now. *CROSS FINGERS* No more bad hair day!

My colleague gave me a pair of movie tickets on Friday at GV Plaza. Its for the movie called "Slither". Hmm... I have no idea how to describe the movie Its disgusting, nonesensical, dry humor and a waste of money. Oh wait! I caught it for free *phew*!

I met Salyza and Fidzah last week too. She wants to pass us her wedding invites. I kept complaining to her how sweet smelling her card was I dun have to wash my handbag anymore. It tickled my nose from time to time therefore I took a harsh decision to store the card far far away from my nose. Till your wedding day, I'm not letting that thingy out. Hmmph!

While reminiscing our good 'ol school day, we manage to thought of how to find Fidzah a boyfriend. We're gonna start our 'mission' after fasting month and we even came up with a list! About 12-15 pts on what kind of man she's looking for. Yay! T'was fun!

Till I update with photos... chow! Oh ya... before I forget... HAPPY BIRTHDAY QIIM~

What was I up to during my weekend? Yup... boozing. What else. Hehe... I feel so much like an adult now. Heh.

I have emptied my Absolut on Friday and last night my dear friend Ellen brought me to Eskibar. I've always walk past that place but I have no clue what's the deal till last night.

Too bad I didn't bring a long my digicam otherwise you'll get to see clearly how the place looked like. I don't never trust my mobile cam.

Ice, ice, baby...

Praying we won't be frozen in this position

We had a great time freezing our tooshies off and defrosting later on with beer and stuff... hehe. Thank you girl for the awesome night and the awesome dinner. We should do this more often. But please... next time...

1. Not on Sundays
2. Always buy Mentos
3. Wear warmer clothings

I'm tired... I need my weekend now!

Photos!

Ok this was taken on 24th March during Salyza's hen's night. We reached MOS about midnight and unfortunately had to queue for about 10-15mins. We were late cos' everyone took so bloody long to get ready! Try waiting for 5 ladies to get ready for a girls' nite out and then you'll understand. Color of the night, BLACK.

What? What did you say? Cam what? Cam whores? Did I hear you say cam whores? Hehehe... fuck do I care.

I will post more photos in a not so near future cos' there's really so many of them!

Tee-hee, here I go!

I am so dreading to blog right now cos I've not been updating for quite a while and I have a lot to say about them. Well, here goes nothing...

My last day in SSC
It was raining and I came to work in the afternoon to clear my half day leave. One thing for sure. I am God damn glad I had packed my stuff slowly for the past few days. I was very satisfied with the state I left my workstation for the next person to take over. Its not 100% clean, but its good enough a condition for a human to 'live' there.

Not many peeps knew 22nd March 2006 is my last day of work so by going around the office with a camera sure do give them a shock. It beats me telling them myself. I mean, why should I advertise my last day? If you wanna know, you should have asked me personally, right?

Anyway took some pictures, unfortunately a lot of people were not in the office that day, so too bad, it rained heavily, bade farewells and off I went with my ex-boss and ex-supervisor to a place unknown to me. He wanted to give us both a treat for his promotion and our resignation and he brought us to his brother's pub near Marine Parade/East Coast. Nice place, forgot the name, delicious food and yes, we drank.

Its a good think he made me drink. I can say whatever I want without feeling the guilt or embarassment. I had to admit but I was having a good time with him. Not gonna miss it though...

1st day of unemployment
I did not wake up late. Its like my body had been permanently set to wake up at a certain time. I could go back to sleep but I had an appointment with Haqiim. We met at Coffee Bean, Boat Quay in the afternoon and dear sir asked me a very STOOPID question.

Haqiim: Just the two of us?
Fida: How many others do you know is not working right now?

DOH!

The long awaited event
On friday we had arranged for a very important person to attend a very "grand" party organised by a couple of us to celebrate the last few moments before she gets deflowered! Yup, its Salyza's bachelorette party @ Merchant Court Hotel/MOS. Apologies for lack of photos thanks to Fidzah who's so God damn slow and also my apologies for lack of details cos we had a pact not to kiss and tell ;P I will probably post up some selected, harmless photos here but not now.

The day after...
Went to one of my favourite pub, 1 Nite Stand to enjoy good music, good crowd and awesome booze. Just a simple drinking session for no specific reason. Right at this point I am very aware there's too much blood in my alcohol system, yeah...

The 1st day of my new job
It was alright, my workstation is quite messy, although pretty much bare. The colleagues are alright too. The best part of the job was to know that everybody sort of need to have their MSN activated for easy communication. We use it even though the person we're communicating to is sitting in the same office as you. Cool ain't it?

Work load is pretty much bearable and I'm yet to receive more responsibilities from the manager. I'm slowly reorganising things around my desk and of course the work itself since I am the new girl who has to start something afresh here with a new system implemented by the manager recently.

I feel really good about this place, although I am still in search of a smoking partner, otherwise, everything else is alright! They told me in Aug/Sep this year, the whole company will be having a retreat but no idea where. Can't wait!

Before I pen off...
Will update you more about my work and of course hoping that somebody will not take their own sweet time with the photos! Till then, muacks!

Eh... wassup wit' Fida?

Something weird is happening in my life. Thanks to a certain somebody, this morning I was surfing around for the nearest community library! Hmm... since when am I a reader? I hate to read! I finished 2 books a week ago and I wanna return them myself instead of handing it to a certain somebody to do it for me. My intention is not only to drop the books but to loan more... why? What's wrong with me? Am I a changed person? Hmm...

Anyway Fahmy told me his elder sister's pregnant after YEARS of trying. Her husband cried when he heard the news. I have no words to express how happy I am for the couple. Very very happy!

I have a couple of news which I CANNOT say here. I did so in my Livejournal but its only visible to friends. So sorry about that. You may wanna ask me for access if you have LJ Account.

I actually have a couple of photos to post up but I have no time to download the photos from my digicam. What have I been doing during my weekends? I spend hours infront of my PC playing Sims 2... what else is new huh? Hehe.. I am ADDICTED to that game. Help!

I would like to thank Kym for helping me buying my poison for March 24 party. Seriously its DIRT CHEAP in duty free shops! Goodness! Thank you so much... I will arrange a meet up with you cos I have to hide that sucker in my office ;P

What's happening on March 24? Hmm... watch out for this space I guess... *grinzz at somebody*

Housekeeping!

While going thru some old stuff in my domain server...... click for larger viewing... yeah if you're interested to spot my flaws in the yester years... go ahead!

I have to admit I was a Neoprint addict back then. There were more but there must be some kind of a reason why I didn't scan them. Look at them... I look so... erm... young?

Soon enough, Neoprint became passe and they came up with these photobooth thingy, I dunno what its called. They cost a lot more and unlike Neoprints, they only print out 2 copies! The last one was of Fahmy and I when we were in our "friendship" stage. Yes... people thought he's younger than me then.
