Annual Report 2007
Well, if you had forgotten, I had scrapped the idea of having resolutions since last year. Mainly due to the fact that I never fulfiled them and I tend to not care about them at all. But I did mention I wanted to pick up a new skill. Well...
I guess I did tried to do better in life and work. I remember having all this self-realisation, self-discover shitzz for a couple of months. I blame it on my quarter life crisis. For once I notice how much I've grown and I've also realised how precious time is. Charly, the french fry, came down to Singapore again for his internship. I wished I had spent more time with him but I didn't. He was here for like 6mths and I met him like 2-3 times? pathetic eh? But that's more frequent than I meet my own folks, so... Lindsay came and I met up with her for that one day... just one day! I will do better for your 2008 trip, I promise! I met so many new people... like SO MANY! I made myself sit down and listen to them to really get to know them better before passing off judgement. Yeah, a whole different Fida coming your way. I'm still the same person really, just takes a much longer time to unleash the negativity now. Haha! Am I happier now? I guess you can say so. But deep inside there's a tinge of sadness in me for the fact that I wish I could meet up with my present, long-time-no-see friends again to catch up on old times. Just having you in my phonebook is not enough... unless I've chosen to avoid you already? Muahaha! Let's talk about vacations. I went to Phuket, Bangkok, Bintan and JB. That's like using my passport for 4 times! Like woah~ This has to be some kind of a record! Usually I travel like twice max. Pricely possession of this year includes:
I almost lost my PC but a good friend told me he'll fix it at no cost... just a Burger King meal! That was a close call but I'm glad he manage to salvage everything back. I have no clue what I'll do if I loose all the data inside! I should now consider investing in a Hard Disk Drive to backup all my data! I did blogathon again this year and once again, I fell asleep for a bit. It was a lot more organised this year as I've had previous experiences. Haha. I didn't raise that much money but I'm glad I did my part to help the less fortunate. Should I look forward to Blogathon 2008? Meh... we'll see about that. It kinda gets a tad too old... we need fresh ideas people! As I mentioned I won't be setting resolutions but on the other hand, I started new projects/hobbies.

Pertaining to my previous post here, I've yet to introduce my new 'love' to you. Presenting Nokia E65... (the snazzier looking one) and I shall name it Britney, cos Paris is so last year and the skankiest hoe in Hollywood now is Ms. Spears! Hahaha... just kidding. I've not found a good name for it yet.  In my humble opinion, this is like the fanciest phones I've ever owned. I am still learning how to use the phone. Lucky for me I've got a colleague or two using the same phone as moi, so I can refer to them like I would WikiPedia whenever I'm kinda stuck. EFFED! I think I overslept! I'm back now... no worries... I've been meaning to get a new handphone since my contract with Starhub expired a month ago. I'm torn between these...    Basically I need a phone that enables me to access WIFI and of course, allowing me to browse the net easily. What do you think? I have an ulterior motive to head up to Phuket next week. I've been working in this new company for over a year and I've been using the same handbag every working day. Step into the good lights
I was browsing the net for some ideas on what kind of lights I want for my room. I'm bewildered by the lighting range i see at Farreys.com. Visitors can shop by the lighting brand, application or by style of choice. The search tool quickly helps find the perfect lights that you have in mind, pretty cool eh? I have to highlight a few collection that captivated my attention. Maxim lighting collection, no not the sleazy men's magazine, caters for the contemporary, natural, traditional and transitional. These are some of my favorites.    Murray Feiss lighting specialises in indoor and outdoor lighting, even for bathrooms. Let me show you my favourites. Yes, you notice I picked those that will not fit my room but I'm ambitious and one day I will have my own house just so that I can have the lightings!    Will you gasp for life if I were to tell you those I picked cost no more than US$500? Why spend hundreds of thousands for a designer one when you can skimp and pay fraction of the cost here. SD: Shopping Discovery
I was browsing DiscoverSD website featuring everything and anything related to San Diego (hmm maybe Singapore should have a website like this). When it comes to the USA my main interest have to be shopping (for obvious reasons, DOH!) and my mouse pointer automatically trails its way to the shopping tab. Out of the 30 stores listed, I virtually push the doors to shops like Urban Outfitters, Matti D, The Puma Store and many more. Unfortunately the site does not link the listings to the stores' own website (either that or maybe they don't own one maybe?). Come to think of it, I don't think San Diego is that big on shopping. But... if I shift my mouse pointer to click on the nightlife tab, you will know instantly people in that area loves to party! Retailers should consider making their way there as you can't party without the razzle mannizle bling bling outfit! If you're from SD, please correct me if I'm wrong in this area. Labels: shopping

My indian shopkeeper
Last night, a nice Indian shopkeeper (mama shop) attended to me when I wanna make my purchase. While waiting for me to dig my wallet, he mentioned that I should get Ruffles chips cos' they're having a promotion where they'll knock off S$4 off cinema tickets. I wanted to get that sinful bag of chips. Not because I want to stuff calories into my tub o' lard form, but just to acknowledge that this is the first time he had tried to make a sale with me. We usually just exchange smiles or the usual "how much?". Unfortunately that day my wallet decide to disagree with the man. Tonight... I'll be back! I was browsing the net aimlessly and landed on a hair transplant website and I immediately thought of that indian man. Haha! I can, in one breathe, name all the people I know who is in need of this surgery. Most of them I know has hair thinning problem starting from the side of the crown receeding to the centre back leaving a tiny 'island in the centre front. Very Bruce Willis don't you think? If you can see it in a positively way, good for you, otherwise I might suggest you do something about it. Oh by the way, these people I have in mind are not over 35 years old yet! Unfortunately, women are not spared from this phenomenon. From the website I discovered treatments available for the ladies too. For women, the losing of hair is often very distressing. A whole lotta proper updates
There's this one day Fahmy and I met on a weekend to spend time together at Vivocity and everywhere else around that area. We had too much fun that the idea of waiting for our dinner to arrive is just too much of precious time to waste just sitting there and wondering when will the plates be delivered to your table. A few days later, on night, on my off day, Clifford invited me to some party at MOS. I think it had something to do with MTV and some watches. I should really start disciplining myself to update soon enuff before I forget the details.   Then over the weekend I met up wit my long-time-no-see auntie Naura *hehehe*. She has a new toy and she ain't afraid to show it off. Look at the size of that thang!!But than that monster toy of hers' battery went kapoot within minutes after we started playing with it. Its a very complicated toy to play with in my opinion but she seems to know what she's doing. We also raid the flea market nearby and got some good buys. Bags mostly, good price for a second hand product. That auntie of mine nabbed like FIVE at one go while I only managed to land my heart for two. Must shop there again... and again... and again. Addicted I am now, thanks to that auntie! Another good day after work, we headed towards the east for a scrumptious dinner in honor of Clifford and Carol's old aged day. Haha... I love celebrating other people's birthday. Its soooo much more fun than celebrating your own.  The day after I met up with the one and only idiot cousin of mine for he owes me 1 out of many dinner treats and to the changi airport we go for my well deserved Popeyes! Last night I went for the loooong awaited swim with Hazel and boy did that scare the shit outta ma muscles! We did 20laps which I had not done for a very long time and it was my first time attempting it with Hazel. Twas fun... Twas good... Twas tummy rumbling. So off to McDonalds we go! Temptations...
I am torn between these three perfumes.    Let me give you a brief descriptions on them. Davidoff Coolwater has been my best friend for years. If I choose not to buy its perfume, I will make it a point to get its body lotion cos' it smells so darn awesome! I can choose to purchase it again since the one I have at home could probably last me another month. I've never bought Curious Britney Spears before but I'm a sucker for packaging. Its just so preeeeeeety and giiiirrrly! I like! The scent is good too. I'm very impressed indeed. Unlike Glow by J.Lo, this one definitely made it to by top 5 list. I bought True Star once last year because of my boyfriend. He thought that is exactly how Beyonce would smell like, no kidding. Amazingly I like how Beyonce smells. The scent is sweet, alluring and not overpowering. I miss this scent too! Other options I have includes my all time favourite, Elle by Giorgio Armani and Escada range. I'm pretty much open to suggestions but the best option will be for one with better freebies! Haha... good luck me ;P

Hey what a weekend!
Since Christmas Eve's not a working day, everybody started to get in the spirit on Friday (23 Dec). I was greeted in the morning with presents on my desk! It really made my day. So suprising that some of the gifts came from someone I least expected. In a panic mode, I started shopping for presents for them during lunchtime. I took 2 hours! Hehe... no one cared if I'm back late cos' we're all in the holiday mood already. Hehe...   More photos here Met my baby on Christmas day. What better thing can I ask for on Christmas than to be with my love ones! We went to Raffles Place hoping to get to have dinner at Carl's Jr but its close. Not too sure if its because of Christmas or they dun operate on a non working day (since its in a business district and all). Disappointed, we walked around looking for a place to eat and settled for Burger King.   More photos here After dinner we went to our very first dating point somewhere in Boat Quay. Spent the whole night there. I had so much fun. Its been a long time since we met so that night meant a lot to me. The office is sooooo darn quiet today. I think only 30% of us are here. He will say that he's full/not hungry but true fact is that he wants to shed a few more kilos and declare himself a hunk. *PFFFT* You'll disappear if you don't eat like you do last time OK! Head up to town and start my long awaited/deserved shopping spree. CK Tang is the place to go in December. Especially if you wanna buy perfume, here's a hint. Always show them the sad face like this :( hinting to them that their packages are not attractive enuff. Watch them whip out miniatures after miniatures! MAC was too crowded today. No salesgirl were available to entertain me. I don't like being un-entertained in MAC. That's the place I would go to get, sort of, free beauty tips. MAC staff know their product and they know their customers very well! I LIKE! End up I have to self-entertain and its way too awkward! MAC! Hire more staff please! Its the holiday season! Come on... Electronics hunters I would recommend you to head to Lucky Plaza and take your time to find that perfect digital camera. Ask the salesman lots of question to find out the genuinity of the product. I almost got ripped off with one who doesn't provide any waranty. I had a feeling its a stolen good! Haha... you will be surprise at how much of a bargain you can get there! Yes, the cam whore is back! I'm fully armed with a Canon Ixus i5 now so be afraid... be very very afraid... Today marks the very first time I went to Chomp Chomp @ Serangoon Gardens. I have no f**king idea that's its a hawker center! I think its the chinese's version of haven as how the Malays feel about Beach Road. Yeah... something like that. Long n lengthy...
Last time I updated was like 10 days ago but you have no idea how much I have had gone thru in that 10 days. Lemme tell all of you the story... 10th Dec : I departed for Sofitel Palm Resort, Senai, Johor Bahru, Malaysia  That place was awesome. We got the ground floor rooms and my room had a view of the swimming pool. I thought mine was the worsst til I learnt that the others had the view of the golf course. Well, not really, more like the bushes. Hahaha.. What did I do when I was there? Hmmm... good food, awesome swimming pool, bowling, threw some darts, table tennis, OH! THE JACCUZZI AND THE SAUNA!!! Gosh... wish I could stay there forever. Also we had some teambuilding activities over at the olympic/wading pool. Good times.... 11th Dec : Bye bye good life... Most of them followed the tour bus back to Singapore but a couple of us called for a cab and made him drove us all the way to the city. Wish I had more money to splurge but its all good. I think we only reached Singapore around 10-ish. 14th Dec : Marche wit Mui Hong  Its her 1 yr anniversary after being baptised. Congrats... and boy, she can really eat!! At the same time managed to check out the Christmas deco in Orchard Road. 16th Dec : Had dinner with my Darling. We went to Newton Hawker Centre and he made me eat a plate of Sambal Stingray all by myself. Its brutal but felt so good later on. So what if our breaths smells a lil fishy!! Good times... 17th Dec : Johor Bahru trip  More like a nightmare... in a good way. Chop off my long locks, turned blonde, so sooooo tired... WARNING!!
I had an awesome week really. First of all I had met all my deadlines last week! I was rushing like mad and everything paid off. I applied for a half day on Wednesday and spent quality time with my 2 pals window shopping. My feet hurts like hell after the whole ordeal. I just remembered I'm not really a fan of extreme window shopping, especially when I'm out of the ker-chinggss. Thursday passed like a breeze to me. I cleared some paperwork in the morning and about 11am a whole bunch of us went to celebrate Doreen's birthday in Michelle's room. There's cake cutting and opening of presents. It was fun. The birthday girl was glowing... oh yeah when she glows, I meant, her face turns pink. Then aften lunch I went out of the office to make some delivery and had to follow the 'driver' around for a bit. By the time I reached the office, its about 5pm. At that moment I truly have no intention of lifting any of my finger to work. I am 100% fully exhaustive. I deserved a break! Oh yes, I met Fahmy after work. Went to his place and just hang out till its time for me to go. I had to say goodbye... its gonna be 2yrs soon we're together but I still can't seem to have enough of him!  I took another day of on friday to rejuvenate, relax, distress, chill by the beach of Sentosa. I was with another girlfriend who's intention was to suntan. I had intended to repel the sun. I need a new PC
Today's post will be god damn blardy long. Why? Cos it's been a while since I had updated my entries and I felt kinda foolish not to share to many exciting stuff that's been going on in my life. First of all, happy belated birthday to Nazrina. We had our all girls nite at K-Box. Great songs, great company and awesome cake. So happy to see your face lit up when you saw the cake. I will update the photos soon enough before you know it here. After lunch we had Active Day at work and I spent 2hours doing nothing, disturbing my colleagues mostly with my 'baseball bat'. Oh yeah I almost lost my voice because I screamed too much, cheering for my team mates during the telematch games. Before the day ends, I took part in the netball game and boy am I good. I played Centre for a half court ala street netball. We lost but we had fun. Well, we lost cos my shooters sucks! On wednesday I went to catch The Terminal with Fahmy, eventhough I've seen it, I thought it'll be more interesting that he treated me to a Gold Class movie experience! *see phlogger on your right* I didn't take any photos int here, cos you weren't allowed to in the first place. Hahaha.. that's the 2nd time I went there. My first was a few years back watching Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle. I enjoyed the 3hrs pampering, the recline seats, the blankies, the comfort... I finally got me a straightening cream from Loreal for my or so messy hair. Ladies, that cream works wonders! My hair never felt softer and much more manageable and DOH straighter after not rebonding it for over a year! Try it! It's only like about S$10. Available in all pharmacies! Oh yes, there's some rat problems at work. My colleagues discovered rat poo around their desk. I can;t find any around mine! That shows the standard of cleaniless in me, people! They caught a dead one in the finance department. It stinks but no doubt I think there's more! I've discovered a brand new piracy scheming tool other than Kazaa, Imesh whatevers.... Its called Ares! Get them from downloads.com while stock last. No spamming, no spyware, no pop-ups whatsoever! Its fast, its realiable and its awesome! Within a month, I've been to Thai Express TWICE! Thats obviously that I've rated the place with a 2 hot thumbs up! Oh by the way I got myself a new game, Hotel Giant and its fun to be a hotel tycoon for once! I;m losing a lot of money but hey! What are banks for! I saw Sims2 at harvey Norman selling for $59.95 but knowing me, I'd rather wait for a pirated copy! I heard its awesome... Alrighty, I'm beat! Chow... My adventurous week
I went to Night Safari last night. Its dark, smelly but on the overall its lovely. I felt like I was really in a jungle amongst all the wildlife. Thank God they invented Tram ride otherwise I don't think I would wanna venture the area on foot at all! Its creepy and God knows what kind of beast could be lurking around without you noticing. Monster Unleashed!
Dreaded going to work this morning. I was late... pretty late (9.45am) but hell do I care. I am exhausted. I had to work tomorrow (Sunday) still. Met dear Siti in the afternoon. Grab a quick lunch at McDonalds. Didn't realise there's so much to do in Bugis Junction! I had only intended to hit the Bugis Market to get myself a cheap, chic, sling bag. I did... got one for $15... down from $18! Pretty good bargain, duncha think?  Siti then dragged me further to places like Giordano, Topshop and Sasa... Yes! I shopped! How often do I mention that in my blog? Almost NEVER! I'm a virgin shopper... *LOL* I've always dreaded shopping. But hey... deep down I'm just a girl *wink*

Oh my...
Lets see... I had an incredible day on Friday. Spent like half a day with my darling and we did something a lil' different last night. Instead of the usual chilling and goofing around, we went to downtown east for like 3 hours of fun filled, exciting game of XBOX. We played like 3 games and boy was it awesome! We had a game of pro tennis, "Need for Speed" ala Fast & Furious and last but not least my favourite Homer Simpson game. I dun remember the name but hell was it funny! My target by April or May I will get me my very own PlayStation 2! We had a sumptious yet cheap meal at one of those 24hrs coffeeshop and then decided to hang loose somewhere, which in the end, got us all covered with red ants. No kidding! I had the most. Even when I was on the train back there's still a couple of them still crawling around my arms, my bag and even my cellphone!! Poor babies... Its Saturday and I'm all psyched for tonight's "event". (Gosh I still felt like the ants are still crawling around my legs. Speaking of freaking out). So anyone of you happen to hang around town and not knowing what to do, drop by Tanglin Mall for a good ol' shopping spree without feeling the hurtful pinch on your wallet. American Idol? My ASS!!
I am sooooo disappointed with Season 3 of American Idol! There's no spark in any of the contestants. I wonder how the panel of judges chose them. The slut who flirts with Alan the model in the swimming pool got thru and its so freaking obvious she can't sing! There are so many from the group auditions, like scooter girl and such, should have deserve to make it to the final audition! I hope those people will get selected for the 'wildcard'. Oh before I forget, if you're residing in Singapore, pls come down to Tanglin Mall tomorrow from 5pm onwards. There's going to be an awesome flea market! Everything goes at a very very low price. Unbelievable? Damn its true people! Most of the goods are 2nd hand so make your choice very very wisely :-) I'm at home right now. I have a lot to do and think about today. I should be going out pretty soon. Had breakfast same time as my coleagues would. Hehehe... anyway I had figured this day will be fun. I am gonna have a long day tomorrow at work and Tanglin Mall. My 2004
I had a great time with Fahmy on New Year Eve. We spend the whole night together talking and laughing and nicking off each other *LOL* We went to a very boring place to celebrate with his friends where unfortunately that night, they chose a Techno fanatic DJ to entertain the crowd. I got a headache after standing in the dome-shaped "disco" for an hour. We left around 1am and went somewhere else more serene... Photolog... Yes or No?
I am now a very proud owner of a Nokia 7250i hehehe... pretty cool phone. So happy I finally got a phone that has coloured screen... Gone were the days where the screen shows black or white... I <3 style="font-weight: bold;">PS2.. he loves that thing more than me now HMMPH!! Anyway at least it makes me feel a lot better since I know he'll be home most of the time ;-P Anyways, back to my phone topic, well, not exactly about my phone, but, oh what the hell! I can now MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) photos to my Phlogger ain't that cool?? Oh above all the excitement, I finally had received my JEANS!!! It took the package more than a month to reach me. Weird ain't it? Anway I had emailed the seller, John, and he's very happy to hear the news and the fact that I had returned him back all his money. Just got the news that Saddam had been captured alive. He's unkept and that poor man had to live under some dirthole. The hole was six to eight feet deep, with enough space to lie down, camouflaged with bricks and dirt and supplied with an air vent to allow long periods inside. I just realised that I had not blogged for quite a while.. Hmm, what can I say...? Oops Oops Oops Oh my God... *LOL*

Counting down to my bankruptcy
I had a great time yesterday... My Payday I am so happy I have money in my bank although the civil service sector got a lil' paycut. Actually it does make a hell of a difference! Brand New Hair Yup I did went for rebonding and cost me only $80. It looks great right at that moment but now its gone a lil' flat. Let's wait after 2 days when I'm allowed to wash my hair. Fahmy loves my hair... made him fell more in love with me as I quoted correctly :-P Brand New Shoe I bought a pair of 7cm high heeled sandals. It made me look taller plus very sexy too! As of right now I've got 13hrs left to enjoy being 21. I'm turning 22 tomorrow. Nothing big like my other birthdays, just a simple celebration with people I care. I am not even in the mood to celebrate either. I'm gonna be old, hooray! I'm still waiting for my Levi's jeans that Fahmy had purchased for me online. He paid quite a huge sum for them. Oh I hope that seller doesn't cheat on us! I thought of wearing them on my birthday... I had a very heavy dinner last night at Beach Road (to those Singaporeans reading this, you may have already know what I would be eating there) and the whole night I couldn't sleep. I thought my life would be over soon but that God I was spared this time. I couldn't sleep the night before just thinking about my death around the corner. Will not wait for friday to blog
I'm starting not to blog regularly lately... not to worry, I'm back! Anyway I think I had forgotten most of the happenings in my daily life these few days. I shall conclude that I need more vacations. I'm stuck on this tiny island for too long... way too long! Anyway I saw some good stuff on TV - especially discovery channel. You have no idea what's going on deep in the ocean! They have like a "car wash" where these few schools of fish will nibble on their "customers" body/scales/whatever. What they are actually nibbling on was algae. Seems that algae will be acculumulated after a while and too much algae will somewhat disrupt the way they swim. One of their regular customers were the turtles (like those reeeaallllyyy huuuggeeee ones!). Just a lil' trivia for you there... :) Fahmy's on morning shift this week Thursday where he will get his 3 off days. I really envy his job. 3 days morning, 3 days off, 4 days morning, 4 days off, then goes to night shift of the same pattern but he have to work for 12 hrs. But still, imagine the amount of sleep I could get if I were to work on such a shift! GOD he's lucky... Work's picking up lately, I will be very busy starting from this weekend... yes WEEKEND! This is a very good time to claim some extra cash thru overtimes and stuff... I need more Time Offs too... I could barely hear my ker-chingsss no more... I'm sick... I am still sick from last week. I have this cough, with the phelgm and everything and its really irritating! I dun wanna go back to the clinic anymore cos I dun think the drugs they prescribed to me works. They even gave me steroids but I'm still coughing! I bought too much stuff on eBay lately and accidentally bought a t-shirt for Fahmy which turns out he doesn't like. I wanted to sort of surprise him but too bad he doesn't like that t-shirt. That t-shirt's on its way from US to this tiny island. We'll see how he will react when I gave him the t-shirt. Oh just in case, my dear, you're reading this entry, I'm sorry to spend money unneccessarily and yes, the t-shirt will be in your hands pretty soon and take it as a gift from me, whether you like it or not... He's working!!
Can't believe that Fahmy's working already. He looked so happy now and when he is happy, I am happy. He's gonna get a new bass guitar with his first fat paycheck that'll be in December. I am just sooooo happy for him. He has never been happier. He has to do shifts which I think is kinda odd but I am very sure I'll get used to it. I got my Standard Chartered ATM card which I THINK can be doubled as a credit card. Oh speaking of which, I have received their first bill, BOY do I splurge a HELL lot of cash like the no one's freeeaaaaaking business. Anyway I'll settle the bill as soon as I get my pay. Speaking of splurging, I managed to get a good bargain on YAHOO Auctions (Singapore). A Nokia 8850 for S$235 and a SONY MD imported from Germany for S$150. I made a lot of people happy and rich last month. I am so busy and less in the mood to come up with a new layout for this site. Maybe before Christmas I will come up with a good one... I hope... I feel so old now...
I had one hell of a week since I last blogged. I found out that I have a new addition to my so-called family now. My stepmom just gave birth to a baby girl. Dun ask me if she's cute, all I remembered was she look like a baby. I wonder if she's gonna look like me when she grows up. I just came back from shopping with Fidzah. I made her spend, I didn't bought a single thing. We had a nice dinner at Marche though. Cost me about S$15, but its worth it. I ate quite a lot! Thank God I did sign up for that kickboxing classes to burn them all off. I'm startign the class this Wednesday. I am suppose to go for MTV Dance class this evening but I forgot to bring my kit.
