Magic Square Box Anxiety
Bloody thanks to the writers' strike that many of my favorite shows came to a halt. And here I am just trying to keep track of things like a damsel going cold turkey. Dirty Sexy Money You're 3 episode short of ending season 1. I'm veeeeeryyyyy sure you're not cutting it short! The show rocks! I cannot have enough of the Darlings. Cashmere Mafia Just 7 episodes?? Are you freakin' kidding me?? Lipstick Jungle Another good drama that'll end with only 7 episodes. I admit the concept is a lot similar to Cashmere Mafia, but the world could use more of these kind of shows! Ugly Betty The magical date will be on April 24th. Entourage This show has taken too long of a break it scares me on whether it'll come back or not at all. They went through a rough first season, but as it goes on it has gotten a lot stronger! After 4 seasons, I was gasping for more but that last said episode aired in Feb 2007! It's been more than a year! Wassup with that? I miss my Turtle :( Gossip Girl I'm pretty sure the show won't 'xoxo' on me yet cos' it has gotten such tremendous feedback. I'd say the show is really fresh and it may seem a little OC but with a dash of glam and me. Blogging, gossips, socialites, relationships, scandals... ain't it entertaining or what? F-I-E-R-C-E! Heroes This show took it bad pre-strike when they start rushing through the episode like a dick they all were! So I hope they will take time to rethink the plot a little and blow me away with Volume three which i think will air in September *cross fingers*.

I <3 YOU
I owe my readers millions of better entries. I'm putting aside time to sit back and blog properly like I used to do at least 2 years back. Work has been wonderful. I love my colleagues and I love my job! I just love the energy we have especially from mid month onwards, crunching time, making the impossible possible and everything I did, right or wrong, is a whole new learning experience for me. Over time I've gained trust and confidence from the people that matters around me and I've been assigned to do things beyond my imagination and just makes me wanna go WOW why didn't I quit my previous job sooner! I'm not hard up on getting a promotion or anything. Additional monetary increment *cross-fingers* will be good enough for me to take on additional responsibilities and moving forward to see myself becoming a whole different person, like really different... erm... I meant career wise. I realised I had grown a lot these past 2 years and I'm thankful I did not turn out to be a what I had expected my life would have been fucked up, or screwed, or *can't find cleaner word, sowee* cos' I've gone through many hardships at work before I could opened up and realise that I needed help! I had a lot to be thankful for. My colleagues who constantly believes in me, pushing me to my upmost limit, bringing out talents/skills/knowledge I never knew I had in me all the time. Thank you for your faith, I really appreciate it like I've never appreciated anything before, work wise. Many who have had known me like years ago will know the shit I had gone through just to make a living. I'd say I would never want to change a thing about my past cos' I believe it had mould me to be what I am now; stronger, mature-r, smarter in so many ways. I'm not writing this entry to flaunt about my job, but I really wanna put all my gratitudes in words, hoping someone will read it and realise how much I appreciate them. I'm not that skillful in expressing such emotions in person therefore I hope my words will do it. I would never be able to say this much in person, and that's my biggest weakness. Oh yes, another important person I HAVE to mention will be none other than my darling. He had been there from the very beginning and I'm happy that I had made you really proud. Happy like FUCK! Oh before I end this longest-entry-I've-had-since-months, I'd like to dedicate this video to a certain group at work who had made me realised my current obsession. I'm giving you a change to laugh at him, cos' I had never allowed that... hahaha! Ooooh its getting hot in HERE!

YATTAAA!!!
About a week to go before the second season is aired and of course the community members are working overtime with their speculations and questions. Thanks to a colleague who passed me this article, I must say its a must read for all Heroes fans! I'll just let you read some excerpts from that article. Click the article link for the rest of it 5 Questions Season Two of Heroes Had Better F#@king Answer What happened to Sylar? Is he very dead, or only a little? As Agatha Christie’s famous detective Hercule Poirot once commented: “When a body goes missing, and a trail of blood leads to a an open manhole, I am thinking two things: One, that guy probably isn’t dead yet, and two, I am getting myself some motherfucking CHUD-repellent.” Nathan and Peter Petrelli. Man those guys were tools. Please say they’re never coming back. Some of you probably recall the tagline from the Heroes ads that aired toward the end of last season: How Do You Stop An Exploding Man? The answer, it turns out, is to hug him and fly away really quickly. Why that part never made it into the ad taglines is still unknown. How long have people had these abilities anyways? It looked like Linderman and the Company have been around for a long time. Clearly people have had these marvelous abilities for decades, yet we don’t recall any dudes, who could fly, shaking hands with Nancy Reagan on the White House lawn before turning to the camera and advising the nation’s children that only dopes use dope. What crazy adventures will Hiro get up to in the past?Hiro’s tendency to repeatedly lose control of his powers can be frustrating for us viewers, but it probably makes sense from a narrative point of view. If Hiro ever did have full control of his abilities, he’d basically be unstoppable. The remainder of the show’s eight-season run would consist of the other characters sitting around playing online poker, sending Hiro out to save the world every time representatives from the United Nations appeared begging for help on the enormous television screen mounted on the wall of the Hero Cave. Who is the mysterious creature that Molly refers to that’s “much worse than the boogeyman?”In the last episode, Molly, the little girl who can find people by thinking about them, claimed that there was only one person in the world she couldn’t find, someone “much worse” than Sylar. This extremely interesting development was just as quickly swept aside when everyone present was distracted by something. It might have been Matt Parkman getting his head stuck in a pot of honey. We’re not sure, we taped over it. Man... I'm getting pretty impatient right now! Labels: tv

Live Earth - my training for Blogathon 2007
I thought this event will be a good opportunity to train for blogathon. I'm kinda worried right now... really. I need another reason to train again! I watched the live telecast from the beginning, fell asleep during Phil Collins performance (can you blame me?) and woke up in the wee hours to catch Red Hot Chilli Peppers and fell asleep after they're done with ONE song (sigh). Woke up in the morning to watch Pussycat Dolls strut their stuff and gave up again after Foo Fighters. Some of the performances are weak but I have to say KUDOS to Rihanna's awesome heavy version of Umbrella. I'm in love with that song already! I'm pretty impressed with the bands over on Sydney stage though. First time I heard their stuff and I'm surprise as to why they aren't famous/unheard of here in Anyways... some photos from Friday night. Click here to see them all! Trapped in a box
I feel like such a potato for the past few months. I won't call myself a couch potato cos' I hadn't had my butt planted on one for pretty long time. I'm always on my bed. My bed is my table, couch... everything. So what have I been doing in bed? Ugly is the new Beauty Yup you guessed it. If you hadn't watched any single episode to date, you're a butt-O-ring! How can anyone not watch it. Its a little on the feminine side, so I don't really expect all the fellas to tune in, but whats makes you think its all about girl stuff? Anyway, caught the last episode (sob sob) and it kept me seating on the edge of the cliff waiting for season 2 to start. Darn! Haro Mistah Esock! I had a 2 days marathon for the series Heroes from episode 1-16 and my colleague told me the rest will only come much later. Then every 2 weeks I got me another few more episode till few weeks ago, I got my hands on episode 23 and that was the last for season 1! Someone please tell me when's season 2 gonna start airing in the US... please! While Heroes go hiatus, I kept myself busy learning more about the show from the official site and the best bit was the wiki 100% input by fans. This is by far the most interative TV series ever in this lifetime of mine. You have got so much to browse on their official website and some fans did an RPG style blogs for the characters that's like soooo fudging hilarious! Refer to the list below to see those blogs. Noah Bennet (a.k.a HRG short for Horn Rimmed Glasses) Claire Bennet Matt Parkman Mohinder Suresh D.L. Hawkins Isaac Mendez (a.k.a Mistah Esock) Niki Sanders Angela Dominique Ames Petrelli Mr. Muggles (Claire's mom's dog) Claude The Real Mohinder (a.k.a Chandra Suresh's pet gecko) Nathan Petrelli (blogging as Ghost of Congressman Nathan Petrelli) Peter Petrelli Sylar Another wiki is blooming apart from the one on the official site and here it is, supposedly maintained by Chandra Suresh before he bit the dust, so now Mohinder took over. I told you this show is just... awesome! Labels: tv

I want a new face...
My curiousity grew stronger after looking at the website about the nose job in the previous entry. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going under the knife but after watching so many episodes of "I Want A Famous Face", I wanna know more! Damn that show is addictive! LA's Revision Rhinoplasty Specialist has comprehensive information about rhinoplasty revision that one need to know before and after the precedure. You can browse the before and after photos to see how various surgeries help to make you, erm, make you look like whoever you want or just make yourself better looking.

Fancy my opinion?
![]() Ah yes, I got these before anyone else in Singapore could even purchase it. Thanks to a certain someone who believed in me, giving me the opportunity to review this expansion pack. I have mentioned before to many that I wished I can get paid playing Sims 2. Wish almost granted. Not getting extra income from this but good enough of an experience. Who the heck in the right mind would let my opinion be heard by many? Oh, speaking of which, I will be on TV in 2 weeks or so on BlogTV.sg, a new tv show on Channel News Asia. Pretty cool show, yup, once again, my opinion matters. I am representing bloggers in Singapore mind you! I may not have delivered the exact message like I had wanted to but I tried. Put yourself in front of 3 cameras, many spotlights, Flying Dutchman and a lawyer, tell me if you won't fumble! *growl* Ah before I end, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN to all my friends and my fans *peace*

White Rabbit
Oh let me smoke thru this song... oh please... yes! Yes! Yes! One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call Call Alice When she was just small When men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low Go ask Alice I think she'll know When logic and proportion Have fallen sloppy dead And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's "off with her head!" Remember what the do0rmouse said: "Feed your head Feed your head Feed your head"

Rockstar updates + Work Anger
BEFORE I START, please take your time to click HERE! My renter's sticking around for another 48hrs so I thought I'd pimped her site a lil' bit more. I may be talking about 2 different topics for this entry but nevertheless the emotion is pretty much the same. Angry music and angry Fida... hmmm... Yesterday I was at work till late. I only reach home after 8pm. That's a record so far. I kinda tell myself when I first started that I'm not gonna be one of those suckers who has to be stuck in the office for more than 8 hrs. Why I was held up? I was waiting for a couriered parcel to be delivered to the office. It was supposed to have arrived in the afternoon but apparently the courier guy told the agency that there was no one in the office to receive it, and he has been coming back and forth twice. That's just utter bullshit, I say. In the end he came about 7.30pm. JOY!! I was so pissed I threw the parcel on my desk and Scott who has been hanging around my office poured me a glass of red wine. How sweet. I practically inhaled that thing and got back to work. I was breathing again after that... thanks to the wine. Ok now lets talk about the rockstars. Most of them put up an impressive performance. The judges was on the edge of the seat rocking along to the performances. My take on last night's show, Zayra, Dana and Josh should be in the bottom 3 cos' they sucked! My fave last night were of course Dilana, Phil and Magni! They rocked man! Can't wait for the result show tonight. Ok back to work! Labels: blog, music, rant, tv, work

Rockstar! Rockstar! (Part Deux)
Ok I'm back to complete the other half for my previous entry on my take on the rockers. Here I go... woo hoo \m/- (<-- thats the 'rock on' hand sign). Patrice is one talented rocker. She can sing and she plays guitar too. I think she should step it up a notch (or a couple more) to match up with the others. By playing her guitat while performing Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box, she has a disadvantage for not showing a better stage performance as the others. I dunno, it could be a good thing to not move around a lot on stage or maybe not. The crowd wasn't as hyper as they should be when she performed. I love Phil! He's sexy on stage. I dunno, probably I just love the way he sing in this slurring, sexy, seductive voice. It looked like he's slacking on stage but its just his personality. He sang it his way and I love it. He pulled it off well, in my opinion. Way to go, you sexy thang! Ryan is ok. Not too fantastic. He did a Rolling Stone hit without being too Mick Jagger-ish. Judges wanted him to show them something more than that which I have to disagree. There they kept emphasising to make the song their own and telling Jill off because she kinda impersonate Courtney Love a tad too much and here they're telling Ryan to be more like Mick. Strange judges we have here... I dunno what you think but in my opinion Storm could have done better. The song doesn't do her justice. She sounded too kiddy rock, if you know what I mean. I really would want to see her doing better. She has a shot at this. Hehe, first of all I love the song that Toby had picked The Killers - Somebody Told Me. He pulled it off really well and the judges agreed in unison. There was even an encore request on result day. He's one sexy Aussie slut! Last but not least, the puerto rican Zayra. She has a really weird voice. I dunno, it may be suitable for some songs but the problem is, not only does she sond weird, she don't even sing The Kinks - You Really Got Me right! She did an encore on results day and it did sound a lot better but I am still disturbed by her voice and the way she moves on stage. Very weird... I do not want to see her on the show again. OFF WITH HER HEAD!!Finally! I'm done... can't wait to watch next week's! P.S: Their videos are viewable on youtube.
The Ring of Fire by Dilana
What did I tell ya? Good stuff eh? Hehe... Quick newsflash... I am pissed Nick got booted from Project Runway 2. It should have been Santino. Oh before you people start giggling, people on the other wide of the world, I know you guys are gonna get Project Runway 3 soon. Please do not tell me who won the PR2 cos I really wanna watch it. Don't ruin this for me. And another newsflash. Dumb Chris got voted out of Rockstar Supernova. THANK GOD!

Rockstar! Rockstar! (Part Une)
Ok last night was the first time I caught Rockstar Supernova. I pretty much am glad I caught it now cos they featured their best top 15 and they rock! So here am I, being my bitchy self, I'm gonna give my own personal This man here is a tad too cocky for my liking. He kinda reminds me of that Justin Guerilla from American Idol. His hair is almost just as big. He sang one of my favourite song Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out and its not what I imagined how someone will cover it. Hate his outfit, hate his hair, he can't do Franz Ferdinand in my very humble opinion. She did Born To Be Wild which I think sounds more like Bore, Wannabe Wild. I dunno, I just dun see it in her. Her personality doesn't really show when she perform, sadly. She dress ok, nice hair, nice clothes... but... nah... she's not one of my favourite. Hopefully she will be able to find that missing ingredients to wow the Oh my God, Dilana, I am so gonna name my future daughter after you. You're the shit, girl! I soooooo love her. She pulled off a Johnny Cash hit classic Ring of Fire in the fieriest, hottest, self-arranged rendition that spells out D-I-L-A-N-A. She had wowwed the judges and me! She's my girl... rock on babe! Jenny's so perky, Jenny's so blonde... but she caught my attention singing one of my all time favourite song Tainted Love. That is how the song is supposed to be sang and she pulled it off. Good vocals, good stage presence, she has my vote! My dear Jill performed another one of my favourite song Hole - Violet. Because of this song I bought me a pair of violet tinted contact lenses. No kidding. That's how much I love this song. She may be impersonating Courtney Love onstage but who isn't? Impersonating Courtney Love wild antics IS COOL! I love her, she rocks my sock. So what if the judges' impressed with his awesome vocals? I personally pictured him singing in Top Of The Pops, doing the chair routine, with baggy outfits, wearing a t-shirt printed BOYBAND in bold. You can't be a rockstar, boy... I'm sorry. You are lacking in erm... the flava! When I found out he's gonna do Coldplay's Don't Panic, I panicked! No kidding! This guy is like one hell of a hardcore punk fella doing something slow-mo like Coldplay. Hats off to him! I love this guy, I think he will make it to the top 5. With a cute name like Magni and a cute bald head like that. I can watch him all day. Not bad of a performance. Nothing that made my heart skipped a beat. The Who's My Generation is a very energetic song and he kinda hesitated to jumped out of his comfortable box and made the song his own. He's safe.Ok I'm halfway day and before I bore my readers to death, I shall continue this in my next entry... or not? Hmmm... till then... ROCK ON!

Betcha By Golly Wow!
How's my weekend? Hmm... I'd say fruitful. I spend both days on my bed, infront of the telly and of course infront of my flatscreen monitor playing sims 2. I played till I can't play no more which fortunately I've not reach that stage yet. People are sick of MSN-ing me at home to chat and I told them I'm busy sim-ing. Hahaha... sorry peeps... this girl got a 'life' to control. *LOL* I have a story to tell. Something happened on friday during my lunch hour. A few of us were chatting after a hearty meal and I had a craving to eat goreng pisang (banana fritters). Raj pointed that one of the corner shop sells the best goreng pisang but he's snobby and will never give you discount if his life depends on it. So they relate to me a few incidents and dared me to go buy my goreng pisang and ask for discount. I got up, went up to the uncle and... ME: Uncle how much for 1 goreng pisang? UNCLE: 50 cents. ME: If I buy 3, $1 can? UNCLE: Eh, you never go to school ah? If you buy 3 its $1.50 lah! ME: Who knows got discount. UNCLE: (This is the part where he lectured me about his high quality goods incomparable elsewhere) I passed him $2 note for 2 goreng pisang and waited for him to return my change while he's still lecturing me. As he went on and on about his business, he handed me a 50cents coin. ME: Uncle, If I buy 2 goreng pisang, it'll be a dollar. UNCLE: Oops sorry. ME: See lah, ask you to go to school dowan! I walked away as I left him dumbfounded. I got a mental applause from my colleagues sitting by watching intently at the 'mini drama' I sketched. My goreng pisang had never tasted so good! Oh by the way, SOUL PLANE is awesome!

Back to work
Its Monday and I'm back from my "vacation". Not very happy and not very comfortable. The drugs I got from the doctor sorta caused some gastritis effect and I'm in pain right now. Left me no choice cos' I need those pills to prevent me from suffering the immense pain my ear caused. It used to be on the left side and now its on my right. Bloody hell! What did I do wrong? Is sleeping on my sides caused my ear to swell? Hmm... Anyway I believed in making my "vacation" a fun one. Although I cannot really go out cos' I looked like shit when I'm "sick", so I stayed home and invented my own version of fun. The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan This movie is directed by Nathaniel Kahn, took us through the "documented" journey of Night's past. I quote from IMD, "This entire film was a mocumentary that was advertised as an unauthorized bio of reclusive director M. Night Shyamalan. After going so far as Shyamalan reporting to the press that he was upset about the release of this film, many fans and journalists became upset when they later learned it was all a hoax. The Sci-fi channel released an apology a few days before release for their campaign strategies." I believed this flick was a true story but on second thought, it could be another Blair Witch thingy. Most of the cast play as themselves. Johnny Depp's in there for God knows why!Confession of a Teenage Drama Queen A teenage girl is convinced that her home city revolves around her until her family packs up and moves to the suburbs, where she finds herself competing for attention. I don't really like Lindsay's acting here but Adam Garcia's in it! Hehehe... Adam plays the lead singer in the band "Sidarthur". Weird band I hafta say and he's drunk pretty much throughout his appearance and sober towards the end. I prefer his role in Coyote Ugly :(This movie was launched somewhere or near to Lindsay's other movie, "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday". She was on a roll there and at the period we thought we had too much of her. She should have given it a rest. But that doesn't mean she could take a long break and record an album! Gee-whiz! Can't stand her! Feeling Minnesota A lot of people say this movie is too much like that of "Fargo". Not that I have seen it but hell, it was alright to me. Cameron Diaz was forced to marry this scum bag cos she stole like ten grand from that crook. On her wedding that Keanu came, since he's the brother of that scumbag. Cameron fell for Keanu (for obvious reason) and they tried escaping but that scumbag always manage to keep up with them. Its a messy movie, that's all I can say. Not fantastic, but bearable to watch till the end. Oh by the way, Feeling Minnesota's title was inspired by some lyrics in the Soundgarden song 'Outshined': "I just looked in the mirror/And things ain't looking so good/I'm looking California/And feeling Minnesota". Not that I've heard the song or anything... that's why it all worked out for me.Cheaper by the Dozen I love this movie and I cannot wait for HBO to play the sequel! Lindsay's rival played one of the dozen's and yes, Tom Welling is in it too *droooool*. The father, Steve Martin had to handle his 12 kids all by himself when the wifey had to travel the country to promote her book "Cheaper By The Dozen". If you think Lynette Scavo (from Desperate Housewives) is a hero in this field, wait till you watch this! You might find one of his daughter looking a wee bit too familiar. Alyson Stoner, who played Sarah Baker, is actually one of Eminem's dancer in the video Just Lose It and 3 more times in Missy Elliot's videos! She was also doing some dancing bits in the "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" (you may not have seen this if you don't have Disney Chanel). She's so adorable and of course, a child prodigy, IMHO. She's the next big thing, people! D2: The Mighty Ducks I'm a fan of those ducks! I can never get enuff of 'em. This sequel to me has better cast. There's Scott Whyte (the hottie from the Iceland team) and Mike Vitar (played Luis Mendoza, the speedy gonzalez)! So let me tell you more about these 2 hotties. Why? Cos I feel like it! ![]() ![]() They both came back in the Mighty Duck sequel, D3. Funny thing is that while Mike played the same role as he did in D2, Scott however, played this guy named Scott, an American. He's no longer played an Icelander! Hehe...

It's Been A While...
I'm about to launch my Version Nine layout... Can't believe me sometime! I've had this website since May 2003! What have I done to it all these while? Its sooooo full of FIDA, hahaha! That's soooo worth my money, duncha think so? I mean, that's what fidainc.com is all about. Hey! I've got a dot com, OK! Do you even own a dot anything? Hmmph!! Anyway quick update, my Rizal's back from Oklahoma/Cincinnati. He did his pratical and stuff at Oklahoma University and just completed his final paper last weekend. I wished him all the best for his result. I made him a scrapbook for his birthday. 2 months of tearful research done on how I can actually go about making them. In the end, I 'scrapped' the whole concept and made it my own. Muaahahahahaha! Final result? He loved it! ![]() Been spending a lot of time with him lately. Both Fahmy and I. He's a lot of fun to hang out with. Can't believe he's still single. LADIES, wassup ya'll?? Spent my weekend at home. Pretty good. I watched all 15episodes of Desperate Housewives. And I still dunno what's the secret behind Mary Alice's suicide! Damn... can't wait for season 2! Ahh, to summarise everything, my week had been pretty dull. Oh before I forget, Haqiim, congratulations for getting a B4 for your 'O' Level Literature paper. So proud of you! Hehehe...

Breastasaurus
Had a gooooooood chat with Rizal last night and he's coming back on Monday!!! Well, minus the jet lag I guess he should be up and about by Wednesday or Thursday. Hehehe... Can't wait! Valentine's Day is coming and I'll be spending it with my 3 girls again cos' all 3 of us will be date-less on that day. Fahmy's working unfortunately on that day :( so I guess we should be celebrating it on some other day. I am soooooo missing Friends right now... why do they have to stop on the 10th season! Worse, Sex & The City followed suit! Damn... but... hehehe... I still have my Manhunt! All hail Bravo TV! Oh I should hit the showers now, heading to Aisha's place for a girly lunch. Anyways...

Movie Critic Wannabe...
Angelina Jolie had to go massively blonde in this movie. I like the idea of the plot how a person can be so uptight and trying to make their life all perfect and let the fun side of them down. One can be a whole other person to be in that perfect world. Everything in the world must come to an end one day. What will you do when you find out you only have a week to live? Catch this movie and find out. This is like one of the dumbest movie I've seen in my life! Or probably the director just want the villagers to be dumb people. At any moment at any time the everyone in the village will pass out, the women got pregnant at the same time, gave birth at the same time, their kids have some kind of evil powers, and the kids all have the same colour hair - SILVER!! Don't ever watch this movie... EVER! Big waste of time. Oh by the way Christopher Reeves' in this movie Ok this movie's kinda infectious. I watched it a couple of times! Its a feel good movie; made me feel so good that I feel like setting up my own day care centre! The kids are so uber cute I can't get enuff of them! The kids background, manners and attitude reflects so much on our society. You should see how Eddie Murphy tried handling a bunch of brats and changed them into a better person. 2 thumbs up from me! Last one I promise. I did saw all these movie during the weekend! Ok, the sequel to Meet the Parents starring Ben Stiller, not really my favorite comedian but he's alright to me. I find myself liking this sequel despite of the horrible reviews from the professional movie critic people. Instead of seeing Ben Stiller up against Mr. Byrnes, now its the Fockers all up against him. Its hilarious cos The Fockers are hilarious, laid-back, fun loving people. There's no reason why we shouldn't love his family! 4 thumbs up from me and my darling! Hehehe...

Hubba-Bubba-Licious!
Last night I forced myself to be in couch potato mode and BOY am I glad I did. Starworld has this new show (well at least to me) called Manhunt, which is very similar to America's Next Top Model but male version. I'll tell ya, that was too much for me to take! 20 good looking male with one hell of a body get together to climb to the top, bitchin' and stuff... it may sound gay to you but THAT WAS A TURN ON FOR ME! Hahaha... They had a spy in the group. Kevin P. is a bitch, really! Hahaha... he's gorgeous with an attitude which turned me off. His job was to report back to the judges on the other models. Meaning 50% of the decision whether the guys make it to the finals depends very much on Kevin. The judges seems to listen to him a lot.My top 3 favourites are... ![]() NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL GOOD TV!!!

Boo-gie...
My first attempting to watch the Idols do their stuff and the first time I realised something had to be wrong. 75% of them were lousy! Tonight for the first time, I voted for this guy here not b'cos he's Malay like me but because he had wowwed me with Earth, Wind & Fire's September. I love that song and he did not ruined it! Singaporeans, if you feel the same way as me please vote for him - key in "8" and send to 43657 (IDOLS). Olinda was good also but if you wanna make me choose between a 'Mat' and a 'Butch', I think I'll go for the 'Mat'! Hahaha... Something funny happened this morning. A Wushu coach called me to update her particulars. According to her she cannot speak English. Me: Hello good morning Her: Ah, XXX (my supervisor) blah blah blah? Me: She's on MC. Can I help you? Her: My English no good lah. Blah blah blah address change blah blah. Me: Oh new house ah? Her: Ah blah blah *gives her new address* Me: Aiyah, you move 2 doors away ah? (Her door number only change!) Her: *giggle* blah blah blah.... Me: Ok thank you Her: blah blah Anyway just in case any of you had not known yet, on Tuesday I celebrated my 2 years anniversary with Fahmy, the love of my life. But before I go into that, I have another great news that I had finally cut my hair. Well, not so much, just about slighty more than an inch. Better than nothing right? Before I made my way to the saloon, we passed by a tattoo parlour which provides piercing services as well. Fahmy stopped and asked me if I want to pierce my navel. He knew I had always wanted to have one but he doesn't like the idea. I thought that would make me happy but unfortunately my heart started racing like mad and my face went pale. He was shocked to see me in that state and asked me why. I told him I was scared. He giggled and we continued our journey to the saloon. We had dinner at the most romantic restaurant, or was it a cafe, in the whole of Singapore! Lovebirds out there, check out Beach Cabana at East Coast. Its somewhere near McDonalds and beside the inline skating rink. In my opinion, its better than Fish & Co. I would very much would like to recommend the Stingray dishes served with sambal. The whole night was blissful and looking forward to many many more anniversaries... Labels: food, relationship, singapore, tv, weird, work

Where did my weekend go?
I had a very hectic weekend. So hectic I don't feel like going to work on Monday. Ermm... I never felt like going to work on most days! Well, Saturday night was fun. Went to Rouge with some colleagues and friends. The music and concept is so much similar to Phuture. Drinks were cheap that night. Not too crowded therefore I wasn't that uncomfortable. I stopped clubbing/pubbing because I find myself getting annoyed by crowds, or rather, the wrong type of crowds. I have to pick the nite spots I'm going for very carefully not too young to meet the requirement and worst, TOO OLD! Click here for the pictures. Spent the whole of Sunday at home. Pretty relaxing you say? Well, good thing I have HBO. It made me feel like I'm at the cinema without having to dress up, or even shower. I caught I Am Sam last night (Yes I AM a crybaby). Its awesome. It goes pretty slow but you have no idea how many times I cried that night. I mean its really touching to see a retard gave his one and only young daughter everything he could give just to make her happy. Society doesn't agree with the idea but really, what's wrong with a father-daughter relationship? Just because he's mentally disabled he's not capable to love and care for someone else? Thumbs up for Sean Penn and Michelle Phiffer, she's so radiant in that movie. She's aging very gracefully :-)Oh yeah I manage to catch MTV Video Music Awards 2004, nothing brilliant. Its all the same, year in year out. Congrats to all winners and Mr Raymond Usher, if you happen to read this (I hoping you would, really), I would like to tell you how hot you look that night! Like wow! You've grown... aawww Snapping into reality, I am so bored at work I am practically pre-writing my blog entry hours before even posting them. Still thinking about Usher though... he's hot isn't he?

WooOoOooOoo...
Hows life been for me? I can say awesome, really. Tired of work is a norm thing already. Apart from that I guess I'm doing really well. I've been exercising like darn blardy regularly. I see no effects yet maybe because I've been dining out just as often as I hit the gym *LOL* My office might be adopting the 5-days work week for our organisation. They had asked for our inputs and so far 100% had agreed to take it up *DOH*. Now its up to the management to decide *fingers crossed*. Currently I've been pretty much occupied with work, social activities, my love life, reunions, weddings *not mine*, oh yes, working on a new layout! I can't wait to launch it. Well, its not actually ready yet. in fact I've got a long way to go. Wish me luck ;P I had missed Singapore Idol 1st group competition. Half said that its boring, while the other half said its awesome. I have no idea whether to catch it if there's a repeat or something. No doubt all commented the judges were brutal last night. Well, they're paid to do that. I bet behind the curtains they'd be apologizing profusely to the participants and telling them they dun mean a word they said and stuff. Hahaha... ya right!

DIE John Stevens DIE
I hate him! Tonight's theme really puts him right where he belongs! Tonight I am extremely impressed with George Huff's performance. First Class, fabulous, splendid, fantastic, awesome, sexy and very American Idol! Other than American Idol, I'm glad to be home and chill out infront of my telly. No one disturbed me at home... I felt good! Ah damn, just recalled that Starhub called and said that my line will be disrupted if I dun clear the bill by this Saturday. I just got the bill TODAY!! Are they overpaid? Or paid to harass people like that? I don't know... Can't wait for tomorrow... Meeting Fahmy, finally! Estoy siendo victimized! Translates: I am being victimized! I have mentioned this numerous time how much I love my job but the people I'm working with kills it! I thought things might improve if I were to be a little more submissive and more accepting to the nature of the people around me. Turns out it doesn't have to be directly relates to me to make me wanna murder someone. They can take it on anyone; the more innocent you are, all the better! I am skipping lunch but knowing me, I might hunt around for snacks around 3-ish! There's American Idol tonight. I can't wait to watch it. I hope John Stevens will be eliminated cos I really dun see him as a recording artist to be featured in shows like Rick Dees, TRL and Billboard! I realised that I am smoking more than usual since Monday. Can't blame me... I need the ease!

American Idol? My ASS!!
I am sooooo disappointed with Season 3 of American Idol! There's no spark in any of the contestants. I wonder how the panel of judges chose them. The slut who flirts with Alan the model in the swimming pool got thru and its so freaking obvious she can't sing! There are so many from the group auditions, like scooter girl and such, should have deserve to make it to the final audition! I hope those people will get selected for the 'wildcard'. Oh before I forget, if you're residing in Singapore, pls come down to Tanglin Mall tomorrow from 5pm onwards. There's going to be an awesome flea market! Everything goes at a very very low price. Unbelievable? Damn its true people! Most of the goods are 2nd hand so make your choice very very wisely :-) I'm at home right now. I have a lot to do and think about today. I should be going out pretty soon. Had breakfast same time as my coleagues would. Hehehe... anyway I had figured this day will be fun. I am gonna have a long day tomorrow at work and Tanglin Mall. So... hmm, maybe you people can seek me out and help me boost some sales! Hehehe... Labels: shopping, singapore, tv

Had to re-do my work like three times, cos apprarently I did them all not according as discussed. I was given too many things to do thats all labelled URGENT that in the end, they have to discuss behind my back who gets me first. I hope you understood what I'm trying to say... Suppose to meet Fahmy after work, but he need to catch up with sleep... till Friday then, dear. Caught American Idol earlier and I'm kinda impress with the contestants' performances... better than I expected.Simon wasn't as fiery as he used to be in the earlier season. Oh well, as long as they get paid... Oh yes, pls humor yourself by clicking these links. Will keep you amused for like 5 mins or so... Click here first and now click here Will blog again tomorrow... No Mood!

I wanna blog...
I think I'm happy... I'm in love... of course I'll be happy. Let's leave it to just that. I can't wait for Sunday where Fahmy & I celebrating our 1st yr anniversary together! We're going Sentosa for a picnic dinner... I'm gonna get some indian food and the special cake I ordered *grinz* you like it duncha Lianne? Work - so far so good, just realised I'm surrounded by irritating people (thanks again, Lianne). Haqiim still not happy he hadn't really actually beat me in pool yet... He's disappointed not able to try winning today cos the table's taken. Hahahaha... Oh, I have to mention this! If you're not a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fan, then skip this paragraph... I saw the 1st episode of season 10 what happen after Joey and Rachel kissed. I love that episode... so farney!! I kinda like not appreciating that Fahmy's working for real now cos he hardly have time to talk to me on the phone. I mean, he will start to show signs of zZZzZ by the time the clock strikes 10! I mean puh-leeze we used to talk til like 4-5am... Or maybe its just some side effect from the aging process he's going thru.. *LOL* Sorry dear, dun worry, I still love you! Do check out this site cos I'm going there in 2 weeks time! Saw Seann William Scott on TRL a few days back, he's so gorgeous! He's funny on and off screen, yeah... Finally I've crossed over from Jason Biggs to him. Jason's just not as hot as he was in the first 2 American Pie. Hahaha... he's my latest eye-candy at the moment, take note people! It rained this morning, as usual, dragged myself to get out of bed. Realised I had not met Fahmy for over a week. This Sunday is the big day... I can't wait! I'm getting my pay on Sunday too - or maybe not... I dunno. I hope the money will be in my bank by Sunday otherwise I'm screwed! My $1.20 Ice Milo lasted me for 3 hours... not bad! Will not wait for friday to blog
I'm starting not to blog regularly lately... not to worry, I'm back! Anyway I think I had forgotten most of the happenings in my daily life these few days. I shall conclude that I need more vacations. I'm stuck on this tiny island for too long... way too long! Anyway I saw some good stuff on TV - especially discovery channel. You have no idea what's going on deep in the ocean! They have like a "car wash" where these few schools of fish will nibble on their "customers" body/scales/whatever. What they are actually nibbling on was algae. Seems that algae will be acculumulated after a while and too much algae will somewhat disrupt the way they swim. One of their regular customers were the turtles (like those reeeaallllyyy huuuggeeee ones!). Just a lil' trivia for you there... :) Fahmy's on morning shift this week Thursday where he will get his 3 off days. I really envy his job. 3 days morning, 3 days off, 4 days morning, 4 days off, then goes to night shift of the same pattern but he have to work for 12 hrs. But still, imagine the amount of sleep I could get if I were to work on such a shift! GOD he's lucky... Work's picking up lately, I will be very busy starting from this weekend... yes WEEKEND! This is a very good time to claim some extra cash thru overtimes and stuff... I need more Time Offs too... I could barely hear my ker-chingsss no more... I'm sick... I am still sick from last week. I have this cough, with the phelgm and everything and its really irritating! I dun wanna go back to the clinic anymore cos I dun think the drugs they prescribed to me works. They even gave me steroids but I'm still coughing! I bought too much stuff on eBay lately and accidentally bought a t-shirt for Fahmy which turns out he doesn't like. I wanted to sort of surprise him but too bad he doesn't like that t-shirt. That t-shirt's on its way from US to this tiny island. We'll see how he will react when I gave him the t-shirt. Oh just in case, my dear, you're reading this entry, I'm sorry to spend money unneccessarily and yes, the t-shirt will be in your hands pretty soon and take it as a gift from me, whether you like it or not... SURPRISE!! Labels: relationship, shopping, |
